the whole enchilada

What's on the enchilada?  You've already done the pipes.  What's left besides the cams?

If I'm not mistaken, the Fat Boys (with their teardrop air cleaner) are wide open in the rear, so it is a true Stage I setup.  Like Jerry said, the SEEGs come with a plastic backing plate that has a few more holes in it, but is still restrictive.  The Fat Boys don't have any backing plate at all from what I remember.

I took the air cleaner out of my Heritage ( I had paid for the stage 1) on it and compared to the fatboy, same one. And yes the teardrop is open with no real backing plate.

Dawg,
Having looked at the spec's on that cam I'd love to see that comparison as well.  If they're willing please advise as to the "when" and the outcome.

Don it is the works. I talked to Bill in length today. They will be in Reno(I think he said) for a trade show. They will return on Tuesday. I am sending E mails to Bill and Danny and we will talk when they get back. I am very interested in the numbers and the power curve.

Be Safe

You know the whole enchilada....LOL

Mainly the Cams, Gear Drive System, Bearings, Aluminum Push Rods, Outer Chrome Push Rod Tubes,
Labor to install the parts and who knows the number of hours on Dyno to make her Scream.
Yeah I have the Freedom Exhaust with a Power Commander - Dyno'd by Brad at Freedom Cycles already.

Brad was excited as he has the setup for the 05 but said he also needed the 06
As I talked with him on the phone he said can you hear the motor in background as it was the 05 idling.

OK whoever is wanting the SNOW - NONE in CA or NV until I return home on Nov. 23rd
I would love to ride through Lake Tahoe on my way home from Reno

Exactly right...the only thing is the fatboy cover fits very close to the filter except for the back "teardrop" area...a little more restrictive.

An interesting little tidbit of information....in order to get the teardrop insert that says Screamin Eagle 103, you have to own a CVO Fatboy.

I was..for DCFIREMANN in Maryland... so he'd quit riding and talk Zippers into trying those red shift 557's in his bike.

While I am in Reno at Freedom Cycles for New Cams - any specific questions I should ask?

Should I have any other changes/modifications made while at Freedom Cycles? [smiley=nixweiss.gif]

I value this board a great deal and I am asking for input [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

jeff

any tips for the BlackJack Table?

Cams being out is a time to consider doing something with the oil pump if one were so inclined.

I would urge all of you to take this Freedom cam for what it is. A RELIABLE cam making GOOD torque without more valve train noise.

If you all want Brad to buil a motor with the Freedom Cycle 4 0r 5 cams and headwork you can expect approx. 120hp and 125 TQ...I've known these guys forever and there's no one better than Brad...

Everyone has their favorites and a lot of guys are touting Zippers here...I've no doubt that they are good but impractical for guys on the West Coast just as Freedoms stuff is for guys back east...

Before you say DISAPPOINTED just make sure you understand what the goals are...if not your goals ASK BRAD to build you what you want.... >:(

Holy - Moly,

I just returned home from Reno, NV as I went to Freedom Cycles for the new CAM setup.

Also got to stop and meet with JC in Sacramento, was kewl to see his scooter and chat with him...good guy

I don't have a scanner but if someone would PM me with a fax # I can fax it to them to post on board. My Dyno sheet says it all for what I was wanting out of my scooter, I got some really good HP & TQ gains in the 3,000 to 4,300 rpm range, once you see my dyno sheet you will notice a gain of almost 20 ft lbs. of torque and 5 horse power at 3,500 rpm vs, previous dyno run.

More info to follow after dyno sheet is posted, hey I am still grinning from ear to ear
