Jerry...couldn't agree with you more. Where I work, the hot topic and thousands of dollars spent on it was "Total Quality Management" or TQM for short...great philosophy of teamwork, not placing blame, solving problems together...blah, blah, blah. I operate with those reporting to me...it's just my natural way of doing things. Turns out for upper management, teamwork meant doing what they wanted you to do, right or wrong, and don't question authority...be a yes man, in other words, and keep your mouth shut, or suffer the consequences. I got the f#*k out of there as quickly as possible, because I was born to question blind authority, and was too politically incorrect for that enviornment 'cause I didn't mind saying what I thought...the air must get thin up high and they don't get enough oxygen in their brains to think the right way and do the right thing for their employees, and more importantly, their customers. Then when things start going to hell, they wonder WTF caused it...DUH!!! [smiley=soapbox.gif]
It takes some kind of wake-up call, but sometimes it's too late. Hopefully, the people at HD will get back to what got 'em where they are...paying attention to who really pays their bills....those who love their product, despite the imperfections, and just want things to get better for everyone. My 2 cents....
