TO MY KNOWLEDGE AUTUM HAZE HAS NOT HAD ANY PAINT ISSUES!!!!

I think the Haze guys were just more easy going on this issue.

Canuck had his bike in the sun and if you do the front faring comparison to the inside dash they are definitely just as foggy/milky as the blk/crmsn.  It just does not show as easily.

But as I say if you look at the dash in the sun you get the WOW factor and the faring does not have it because of all the clear.

I have had  my CVO Ultra Classic for a year color Au tum Haze and have had no paint issues as of yet, mine is an 06
the only problem with this bike I have had the foot shifter fell off doing 70 mph on a busy highway I coasted to a stop
and called Stone Mountain HD where I purchased it and they came out and did a quick fix to get it to the shop, it was
repaired and I was on my way about two hours with a brand new part and so far so good. I will be bringing my bike in for the 10,000 mile service and new back tire tommar ow, all in all its a great bike and worth the ridicules price.

I agree, the haze DOES have the same issue with the clearcoat, and there is a difference betwen the parts, but I also could live with it, as it doesnt stand out or even look that bad on the white base. Black is a totally different story. I want that email address twincam. You have a PM, and thanks bro for looking out for the rest of us still waiting or being denied still, even though you got yours fixed.

ok all you folks still having trouble getting your parts. first let me say I don't know if this guy was just blowing smoke up my a$$ or not, but I do not think so. he gave me his card and it says he is DIRECTOR OF MANUUFACTURING at york .pa he said hes office is right next to where the cvos are made, I met him at the AZ state hog rally and rode with him on a few rides, we had a long conversation about the paint problems on the 06s, I did tell him my paint had been takin care of but there were still some cvo owners that were still not getting there issues resolved. I told him that this thread has been read over 30000 times and I gave him a card to this site, with directions on how to get to this thread. he said this is unexcusable, and he would bring this issue up when he got back. I went through the "we are the owners of your flagship model and we are not being takin care of rutine" and alot of other things. I hope this helps everyone who is still waiting!!!!!!! but, if not as I said he did give me hes card with email address on it, for all of those who still wait and are not gettin service they deserve pm me for hes emaill address!!!!

Randy

I just wrote a letter to this guy, it actually had to be sent in 3 emails, Part 1, 2 and 3. It was too long. I also sent copies to the factory rep aka 'Vern' s supervisor Stacy Alberto, even after a few months after our meeting, I just can't let his actions go. Nor can I let Drons bs go without another formal complaint being made.

I was watching that Judge whose pants were misplaced by the dry cleaners, and he's now sueing for 67 million after being offered $20k settlement for the lost pair of pants stating consumer protection rights.......too bad, this judge didnt buy a Black Crimson '06. cause Im pretty damned sure, my rights have been consumed here. If a pair of $400 pants are worth $67 million, how much can I get for a $35k+ bike?

Ohhhhhh,... I think the bike issue would be worth about half of the gross profit for the year for the MOCO. ;)

I think SEGeaserGlide06 has been waiting since November or December sometime. :nixweiss:

Unreal.

Yep, Still waiting.  I spoke to the dealer today and Caliber had called them and said they had all the parts ready but one.  They were supposed to ship this week but their QA guy refused one because it was not "right".  It is being repainted and will ship next week.

I started this in Nov 05 and here it is May 07 and still not fixed.  They did offer to give me a radical set of my choice but I turned them down.  I want it to look like a CVO.  The bike has been at Macon H-D since mid December.  I forgot what it looks like.  I did see a fellow FLHTCUSE in Gulf Shores AL over the weekend.  Nice bike!

I hardly know what to say about you having to deal with this since Nov 05.... a few words do come to mind... inexcusable, pathetic, disturbing, and many other words that can't be used on a family oriented site. I salute you for your perseverence! :2vrolijk_21: :2vrolijk_21:

I started in mid summer and just finished up about March.  It looks great now.  Hell I figured it just meant I have a new bike now.  November 05 is ridiculous though.

I'm curious, why would you leave your bike at the dealer since December for new tins? I'd ride it even if it was just primer paint while waiting on the tins.
