Driving lights for CVO RG?
« on: June 30, 2009, 10:27:28 PM »

anyone had any good resluts with running lights? I had HID headlamp and LED's in the running lamps on the 07 SERK. I miss the good light in the side ditch. Almost got a deer last week. Never saw him.

A friend of mine runs the Moto lights on the forks, if I am in front of him they blind me. I think they have to be the best running lights I have seen.   Doc

Hey Doc I saw some in the store the other day. I was wondering how good they are . Are they adjustable side to side?

I have the Moto Lights.  I agree that they are the best thta I have seen.  They are adjustable, sisde to side and up and down.  I have mine set a little down and out to the side.  They dont blast light out to the side but they help.  I keep them on all the time as they do get noticed because they are something that is different from other bikes.

There are some pics on this thread from when I first brought her home.  You will see a close-up on the lights.  Now that I think about it I am not sure how much left to right adjustment that there is.

Slickest deal for running lights is the Headwinds combo 2" Running Lamps (55W) and his turn signals that bolt to our stock current turn signal mounting location. The MOTO units look like something that ought to be on a jap/euro bike, The Headwinds are top notch chrome, milled bezel units. Different deal but they have been used on the winner of the Riddler Award the last few years, good enough for a half millon dollar streetrod, good enough for me.
Catch the Headwinds guy at an event and he will deal. Has Visor type bezel and round bezel. Very nice stuff.

DW: Bump.  Would you happen to have any pics of this on your SERG?  Any problems on the install?  Thanks

HEADWINDS Website: Check out the Road Glide Spotlamps/Turn Signal Combo Asm. Pricey but very slick when installed.
