With the stock wind-deflector it was no problem to ride over 200km/h and the SERG was still very good to handle even in long curves on the highway , but with the Winvest 12" it is very dangerous to pull it  over 160km/h when there is not really a straight street , a little leaning does cause the front to begin to shake up and you have to slow down immediately , otherwise there would be no possibility to control it , that`s why i ordered the CV GT Small and i hope that the leaner angle of this shield will improve the highspeed riding while keeping the bees and stones away from my visor , I`ll see whether it will work as i hope .

Yep
Stock windshield @190 km per hr feels great. Seems to love the higher speeds and smooths out and runs great at about 150 kph.Hard to keep it at 100km(60 MPH)  Bad news for speeding tickets though. :nervous:

That metric stuff must be like dog years. I'm sure the US bikes are considerably faster. I think old people have kph speedo's in there Buicks here in the US...I have to be careful not to tailgate them on the way to work some times... :drink:

Now that I'm getting up there in years I do ride a lot slower and more conservatively. I don't zip in and out of traffic pushing the envelope as much as I used to. The last time I got pulled over was two years ago in Durango, CO. He said I was doing 50 in a 35 on my way out of town and I probably was. I was honest, straight forward and didn't argue. He gave me a written warning. He made sure that other riders saw me pulled over so they slowed down too. Half the job of traffic enforcement is making sure others see you so they back off the throttle too. Afterwards we shook hands and he gave directions to the scenic route home.

However, with my Ultra down for paint, I am left riding one of my four KZ1000 training bikes. And I have to say those quick responsive Japanese bikes can get you into trouble in a hurry. I'm not saying the Ultra is slow, (it is compared to a KZ1000 off the line) I just don't feel as inclined to get on it as I am the KZ1000s.

Yes, given that the oppurtunity to go to jail was a possibility the option to go home was a good one!

Whats up E? Ya, I was sweatin' it cuz I didn't have my linence then. I've never had my license. And I usually don't get along with cops anyway. But he was cool, all he did was give me a warning about my speed and a fix-it ticket to get my license. He asked me did I know how fast I was going and I told him around 70 and he just started laughing. He said, "You passed me doin' 90!" I let off the throttle when I saw him and as I passed him, I waived.

160 kph = 100 mph and 190 kph = 118 mph
