We will have to compare notes!  I am tackling the install of the light strip today.  last night I finished up attaching the Radiantz Retro Tail Light module with the recommended "Plumber's Goop" (great stuff).  Next I will re-assemble and re-seal the Lens and Reflector using the "Goop".  Pic's reflect before and after of the Lens.  See my comment above about removing the epoxy >:(
Should have the light strip in today.

Good luck with your install, I think after what you've done, it'll be a piece of cake for you!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Bob...I'm sure everything will go well!!  Just be sure you clean the leather well with some alcohol before sticking it down!  And make sure it's straight, 'cause once it's stuck, it's stuck!!  Once you see the wiring, you'll see that it's really simple, and you'll be a lot more visible to the vehicles behind you!!!  Wish we could join in the ride...hope you have a good one!!

Thanks Terry, I'll have my manual I made myself with all your notes and pictures right with me!
We had a great ride, I don't know if you've ever been to Madison, GA or not but it's a beautiful town with lots of history.  Wish you could have been with us.
Take care buddy,
Bob

Well, we'll just have to make plans to do that, Bob!!  Let us know how the install goes, with pics of course!!!

14.7" Lite Bar installed:
I opted to drill a small hole just above the steel plate 1/8" off center.  Came out right at the lite bar.  Threaded heat shrink through and it lined up with bar sitting on the Antenna bracket.  Taped the bracket up temporarily while I wired everything in.  Threaded the wire behind the leather overlap above the staples and down the side.  Made the connects with the HD pig tail and applied heat shrink (White stuff in picture).  Final Test then I stuck it down.  Looks great!  Will provide final picture when I put the tail lite assembly on the bike after the Plumber's Goop cures.

View of lite bar left side of Antenna.  Can't see any wires.

Inside TourPack.  Large screw driver holding the leather overlap up to view the wire coming thru above the steel plate.  You can see my first "pilot" mark just to the left of the wire.  After double checking my measurements, I drilled the hole a little closer to the center of the Antenna hole.  No chance of crushing the wires this way and it lines up perfectly with the bar resting on the top of the antenna bracket.

Same as above.  You can just see the Heat Shrink material as it comes out the hole an then under the leather material.

Finally, the wire coming out from under the leather overlap on the side of the tour pack and curling up under all the other wires before connecting to the Tour Pack pig tail.  The White Heat Shrink covers the inline "Diode" for the brake lite operation of the light bar.

Thanks Terry.
With the sunny weather we are having right now, I would have like to have been riding, but I had to pack away all the Holiday Decorations this weekend so this turned out to be a good weekend to get this done.
I put the tail lite back on (Radiantz Retro) and very pleased with the higher visability.
The attached picture is with Brake lite On. (You need to scroll down to pick up the tail lite on the following pictures.

Looks good all lit up like that!!  That LED array in the tailight really shines, and the strip of course looks great as well.  You'll get noticed now for sure!!!

Thanks for the pix Magic. I'll be doing my install this week. Parts should be here in a few hours.
Just checked UPS: Your package is on time with a scheduled delivery date of 01/08/2007.
I've gotten all the HD wiring parts so I'm ready to go but...
I'm still leary of drilling a hole in the TP. Were you not able to loosen the antenna and run the wire behind that?
