I got the warranty at Centennial Park HD in Pataskala, OH. I'm a long time customer of the dealership and I negotiated the price of the warranty since I couldn't negotiate the price of the bike. Unless you call not paying $4k over sticker negotiating. lol From what I understand, the normal price is somewhere in the mid teens, but either way for someone that rides a lot, the odds are in your favor.

I bought the 7 year extended warranty on my last three bikes and again on the new SESG.  They've always paid for themselves and by more than a few bucks!

Now that we're able to negotiate the cost of an extended warranty, that makes them an even greater bargain.

Jenni's the general manager at Tri-Counties.  She is very busy and is sometimes very hard to get hold of.  Try early in the morning when they first open and you'll have better luck.  Just be persistent and you'll get her.

I use her, but can't I control what she does. I'm only in touch with her when I need something. She's been pretty good over the years. Nobody's perfect. I've had a few times where she's hard to reach. Just keep trying her and/or stay on hold til you get her. She's also just been on vacation in Mexico. Don't know when you tried. Might'a been while she was away. Try as Charlie suggested.

Just went through a starter and a rear brake stop switch on '07 Deluxe. Last month it was the alternator and regulator. I got the 5 year extended. It has just about paid for itself with 33K+ miles. Harley's warranty and extended warranty do NOT have mileage limits.
I got this extended as I knew I would be exceeding the 10K p/year mileage mark. I'm glad I did. I will get 7 year on the new SESG as I intend to really ride that one a lot!!

If your not doing the miles, I would question getting the warranty.

I was quoted $1519 for 5 additional years, plus $290 tire and wheel, for my 2010 SECU.  Is that a respectable price??

You guys are right, early morning is the trick. Got her yesterday and talked about ESP and order a GPS, thanks guys - I'm all happy now.

They nearly always pay for themselves.....especially on baggers with all the electrics.  That's been my experience on the last three.  But I haven't paid over 1k for the seven year.....it is negotiable.

If I read your post right, you're looking at just over $1800 for the ESP and W/T warranty, that's roughly MSRP if I remember correctly.  Call Jenni at Tri-Cities, I believe that you'll be able to get both for around $1500 and some change....
