You've already got the free flowing AC on the SESG, but putting the free-flowing mufflers on will cause it to run leaner...will the ECM with the sensors be able to compensate enough?  Don't know.  My dealer recommended putting a fuel management device on just in case (was going to add one anyway when I changed the headers), so I'm going with the SE Pro Race Tuner and the new "Smart Tune" software.  I'm also putting Vance and Hines 4" Basic Slippons on mine.  I wanted 4" cans because anything smaller would, in my opinion' look odd in that cutout in the back.  I was going to go with the Vance and Hines standard ovals, but according to their website, they won't fit the SERG, so with the SESG having virtually the same setup, they probably won't fit the SESG either.  I'm anxious for them to get in so I can get rid of those quiet stock pipes...damn they suck!!  :-\

Let us know (with photos) of what you end up with?  Being the proud new owner of a SESG, I want to change the exhaust also and agree that they have to be larger to fill the cut out holes of the saddle bags.

Unlike you.......I'm enjoying the quiet exhaust.  If they came out with a performance exhaust that was quiet, I'd be all over that.  It's nice being able to hear the stereo at 100 mph. :2vrolijk_21:

Hearing the stereo at 100 is a new experience for me as well. I had V&H true duals on my 06SG and loved them. Are the V&H basic slips on the same for 09 and 10? The catalog --of course--still only lists 09. I think they are but before I order them I want someone to agree with me :)

The SERT was a private label deal between TTS and HD. HD NEVER owned the product. The SESPT was made by Kent Moore to copy the TTS product. The new Smart tune is them attempting to again copy the TTS Vtune product but you do not get anywhere close to the adjust ability of Mastertune and Vtune. If your looking at slip-on's for a 2010 I do not think your going to gain much in the way of performance. All 2010 head pipes have cats in them and the exit of the cat area is only 1 3/4". I would be saving the money and going with something better if your looking for a performance gain. We just did a 2010 FLHX with a Thunderheader, Air Cleaner and Mastertune. 80RwHp and 94 Ft.lbs

I am going to pull the cat and do a SERT as well, but want the slip ons now because the bike is WAY too damn quiet!! Are the 09 and 10 stock mufflers SEUC and SESG the same?? I was also thinking of buying a set used and doing the fullsac baffles to them instead of modifying mine.
