Hi guys,

Any ideas on making the stock seeg backrest more comfortable? Around town I am fine, went on a 2 hour ride last night, this mornikng my lower back is killing me.

I leaned the angle of the bracket back. I cut off the ends after the second set of holes then put a half inch spacer on the piece that attaches near the battery. Need a longer bolt also. Much better and easy to do. Good luck.

If you don't cut off the ends of the bracket,they will hit the rear fender and damage the paint. FWIW.

Back rest angle seems ok, the damn backrest is so fricking hard though, maybe get it padded?

Don't think you can get the stock one padded. They have several others in the P/A catalogue. You may want to loos at some of those. Some other one's are more padded than others.

Are you pushing against the backrest too hard? If so have you moved it back?

Most of those seemed to come from assembly with the bracket all the way forward. Moving it all the way back can give you a lot more room and make it more comfortable. The stock seat still suck likes rocks in space. But it's better for most if the backrest doesn't have you in compression.
