We learned that motels are far and few between out here.  You better plan it well.

A shot of the women's hut.  Don't remember what they call them, but the sign said that the men spent most of their time in one while the women and kids in another.  This is a replica of the women's.

We're off to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon today.  Will stop by the dealership in Bellemont (isn't that where Bill and Ann bought their copper top?) before going on to Sedona......where we have reservations for tonight.

Outstanding shots of an obviously great trip! I am envious. Always enjoy your ride reports. Terrie is an inspiration to my wife Kandy.

Great photos you guys, brings back a lot of memories of our travels through the Southwest.

JC I was wondering how your 110 is performing at higher elevations? Mine did not like the altitude.

We always try to bring everybody along on our journeys through our ride reports and comments. :2vrolijk_21:  Do that because we enjoy yours and others so much.......just trying to give back. :2vrolijk_21:

Chris, my bike is running great!  We left Calif. in 110F temps and I didn't experience any heat issues.  Riding into the North Rim there's one area that's 8,750 ft. elevation and I didn't experience any issues there, either.  This bike has got me wondering to the point that I called Jim and asked him "why am I not having the heat issues that I keep reading about?  Do I have a freak bike?  And if that's the case, then why?  I mean that'd be scary, too".  I just can't say what the deal is.

The bike has got hot to the point where the heat management system kicked in a couple of times but I never felt any excesive heat coming up from the motor that bothered me physically.  I mean I don't think it runs any hotter than my 103". :nixweiss:

As of this writing........I think I have one hell of a machine!  The best Harley I've ever owned.  Now we all know that could change at any time but I'm going to run with the positive for as far as I can.

Now, back to sharing this ride with all of you..........
