How wrong is it for dealers to ask more then MSRP. I will tell you that it is BULL CHIT. If we just said no and let the bikes set then maybe they would stop this CHIT. We the riders keep them in business by buying Parts, Chrome, Service and Cloths. I for one would love to be loyal to my dealership of choice but because they have lost there minds then my money shops anywhere. When was the last time you went into a dealership on the road and did not buy a t-shirt. This is wrong and the dealers know it. But you know what it's not there fault, as long as we give them the 2,000 to 4,000 premium bike charge they are going to do it. I for one am not going to pay it. I hope more riders tell them to F&%# OFF. I love my Harley's but I like to eat too.

Ladies and gents,

I am in the Navy and we get a discount on all Harley's.  They used to only let us buy 1 a year, but have changed the rules. 

I can purchase them and provide a power of attorney for the person to take delivery at there preferred HD dealer. 

I havent thought this out much, but I would be willing to pass along some savings if we can figure out how everyone makes out. 

Any ideas how to make the money transfer? 

I just cancelled an order on a 10 SE Softail Conv because I found a used SE SG.

You're right, but the dealers feel, especially when it comes to CVO's, if you don't want to buy it, someone else will.  It sucks, but it's reality.

Thanks, but I will tell you that it pays to show around. When I set out to find my bike every Dealership wanted 2,000 to 4,000 above MSRP and I was just not willing to pay that. But I found a Dealership in Ottawa, OH. Ben Breece HD that sold me a 2010 SEUC for 1,000 under MSRP with No deliver and No setup. So it just goes to show that if we look around the deals are out there and not all Dealer are the same AHOLES. Just my 2 cents
