The lowers work great , less buffetting at the top and at the feet .
Had a good ride today , first tried with closed vents but cause of not yet tuned the bike it was getting too hot (for me) , then i opened the vents and it was better temperature and oil pressure .
Hope to get my mufflers soon to be able to do the Supertuner and the dyno .  :2vrolijk_21:
Great lowers , this was a good decision Larry  :2vrolijk_21:

Hey Larry ,
is their a trick to mount the lowers ?
The right side lower is a little bit loosely allthough the screw is really very tight , i have to push this right side one to the most outside position of the engine guard because otherwise it will touch the sharknose fairing .
But the right side lower is a little bit wobbling , is this ok , or do i have to search why it has a small wobble ?
Where are yours located ? Did you push yours to the outside-direction too ?

yes I did, and i adjusted the upper fairing brackets a little out. you may want to add a washer/spacer to the thumb screw

The washer i added allready and the bracket outwards was my next idea , because the bracket wanted to move outwards for alone as i made it loose , but i just hesitated whether this would be good . Thxs for your answer .

I added the lowers to mine two weeks ago, I rode 2400 miles with them on.  I am not happy with the fit, but I think I figured out it is because the fairing is not centered.  Seems it is off center by 1/2 inch which requires the lowers to be at different positions on the engine guards.  The do help with the buffeting around the eyes and ears.

Did you all remove the air baffel on the trees like the directrion say to do?  If so why remove it or why not remove it?  Thanks

I removed it because I thought the more air flow the better with these heat monsters and the lowers reduced the buffeting anyway. IMO

I had mine off all summer with the lowers on, but I now have the baffle on with the lowers, no heat issues at all. but it is time to change from the Cee Baileys to the Clearview, and tinker around a bit under the fairing, gotta make the most of it when the fairing comes off. only issue, too busy to work on my own bike. good problem to have.

I have left my air baffel on.  So far no issues.  Rode it to San Antonio and back like that.
