SE 255 in a 96"?

Anyone have any experience or first hand knowledge with the 255s in a stock 96"?

Guys that ride dyno sheets may say nay to the 255's as a bolt in for a 96.
Guys that ride the bike say to yes the 255's as a bolt in for a 96...they really like them.
A good tune helps of course.

That's what I have been hearing also. Looks pretty good for a bolt-in swap.

More torque than stock , very smooth , drops at 4000 , but due to the low overlap you still have the heat problem.
 
After 17K with mine , I'm looking at a 54H

Good tune, heat problem resolved.
Not sure I buy into the low overlap always means high heat theory.

Yep ride dyno sheets everbody wants top end power in a bagger and to keep that intake valve open as long as possible with stock compression so that the motor takes longer to rev out,but hey now you got 10 more horses at 6k with stock gearing awsome!!!!
