Thanks for the welome, I live in Massachusetts Had a 90 fatboy and an02 ultra when I saw the seultra last year I put a deposit on the next one coming in. When I found out it was the green one I almost canceled the bike but when they put it outside and the sun hits the green paint I was sold. I sold the 2 I had and bought the cuse in August of last year. Ive added some sampson pipes and a few pieces of chrome Harley paid for a race tune and high flow air intake after it was at the dealer I purchased it from for two weeks and then spent three weeks at the local dealer trying to get it to run cold. runs better now only stalls once in a while not every time I start it up I see from the site Im not the only one who has had problems with stalling. hope to learn more in the future and look forward to putting in my 2 cents worth in the future. mws

Naitram, Thanks for the invite, I really appreciate that.  I left a little early Friday just after the posting, so I am just now getting around to replying.  I rode a little over 120 miles Friday afternoon towards Portland then back to York Beach.  I have a home near Sebago Lake and am about two hours from Boston. If you ever head north let me know, I am always up for a ride.  Hope you guys had a good run to CT. Harold

I kinda jumped in here on a few threads without formally introducing myself, so I'll take this opportunity to do so.  I'm Terry, and live in Birmingham, Alabama...been here most of my life, with the exception of a 13 year stint in Tuscaloosa - went to college at THE University of Alabama (as opposed to UAB, which used to be considered a bastard step-child) - then just stayed there a few years after graduation.  Now I work for UAB in HRM for the Dept of Medicine.  I'm a techie at heart, having been an HVAC/Energy Management Tech(Control systems) for the UA system for 18 years.

I had a panhead "chopper" back in the early 70's...wonder I didn't die back then, but it put Harley in my soul, even though the damn thing wouldn't crank half the time. Then a couple of Hondas through the 80's, which I rode a LOT, and did what little maintenance was required myself. Then went through the 70+MPH Bass Boat phase for a few years.  I also, ski (snow), mountain bike, hike/backpack, and fly-fish every chance I get (wonder if the SEULTRA will hold waders, boots and 5 pc rod?)   ;D

Got divorced about 3 years ago after 24 years...so I'm just now getting back on my feet financially and swore the first thing for me was going to be another bike...started out looking at the Street Glide, even looked at BMW's, then an Ultra Glide Classic.....THEN, they hade a Haze in the showroom one Saturday and that was IT, so I've got a deposit on a BCCS to be shipped on 5/11.  In the meantime, I found this site by accident, and have learned a lot about how to spend a bunch of money on what I thought was a bike that didn't need anything else...oh well, I'm a DINK (dual income (one retirement), no kids), so what the hell.  Acutally, I'm really looking forward to tinkering around again, since I haven't done that in a while either, and used to work on my own cars, back when you could.

So, thanks to you guys, the list keeps growing, and haven't even taken delivery yet, plus a SEVROD caught my eye Saturday, so I see two bikes in my future...one for fun, and one for touring. I'm signed up for the Maggie Valley CVO gathering, plus will probably do "Thunder on the Beach" in Pannama City, FL in September.

This a great site...unique in that everyone on here seems to have OCD...both definitions.  Looking forward to meeting some of you in person and having a cold one.

Be Safe,  TC

Welcome to the site. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Few words of wisdom/caution

This place can make you spend money.
You may be overwhelmed with the "OCD/SEO" (Obsessive Chrome Disorder/Screamin' Eagle Obsession)

Finally don't worry about the above two statements it happens to us all to some degree or another. :D

d00d speaks the truth. In my short time here I have been compelled to purchase all number of SE things, with more on the visible horizon.  Wife is tolerant... so far.  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

Naitram, yeah, that would work, if she didn't ride her own (04 RK).

Oddly 'nuff, she loves jewelry, shoes, clothes, and stuff, but she's not much on buying stuff for her ride.  Says it has enough power  [smiley=nixweiss.gif], and has only added a few choice chrome things.

However . . . I've noticed that when we're riding, and stopped at a light, she's staring at my  [smiley=pumpkin.gif].  [smiley=anxious.gif]

Maybe it's because it makes me look more manly!  8-)
