Has anyone removed the International tail light? Is there another smaller and better looking one that can bolt on in it's place? Can the signal lenses be changed to a clear or red lens?

This may work....it worked on my 06 SG to remove the tailight and conventional directionals. Not really sure what to do with the big LED's

Thanks  :(Not the look I am looking for. I may just have to get my body man buddy to fill in the holes and match the paint. I would think the signal lenses can be changed to the stock USA lenses easy enough.

What happens if you buy a bike in US and have it registered in Canada... does it have to be converted?

Yup, they love doin' that to us over here...... .......Hey Hawg, they must have sent all the Canadian bikes out West....... No sign of them down here until the first of October......... I will be notified end of NOVEMBER, as to when mine will be delivered........ GGGrrrrrrr.............. Until then, I will sit back and watch all the mods being done to the others.......

HD and Kuryakyn make a laydown light to replace the stock part.  I've seen one on the 09 SERG and looks good (compared to stock).

Having the same nightmares... but I think i have it figured out.

Was just over to a US dealer and noticed that the US bike brake/running/turn signals are actually smoked grey but shine red. Part number 69383-09 (left) and 69407-09 (right). They are the whole light assembly and will swap out for our amber ones... a little pricey though...$195 each

Step 2 get a Layback smoked grey lense for the canadian tail lamp.... I think it will all blend together nicely

At least it all looks like it belongs

If you do swap out the LED's you need a new harness 70338-09 as the HDI one only runs the turn signals.

Going through the same problem on my serg,  if you oder through Jenni you will save 20%.

Here is my solution , the plate will get the three colours titanium dust as ground the eagle line in gold and the insert of the eagle black , the "Screaming eagle" black or gold .
