Hey! The paint isn't really a big prob if you have a good painter. (Just gotta get the right person to pay for it, right?) It is a three layer process, so it's beyond me, and a lot of body guys, but a good custom painter shouldn't be overwhelmed. My guy originally went with the #'s provided by PPG, and it was a crap match. (According to the rep, it's real loose control on the paint at the factory, so there are big differences in the paints from bike to bike. (I can't see the differences, but Ed pointed them out to me... much better eye than I) He then went with another brand and got a dead on match for my '05 Cherry SEEG. I still have paint for mine that I would share, and he can mix more if need be. My painter is Ed Hubbs, owner, Full Blown Kustoms, ICN here in Eugene Oregon. He loves the bikes and does real good work. His Number is (541) 434-0224. You may want to call him just to pick his brain. Tell him I sent ya,(shannon johnson), and he'll treat you well. Actaully, he'll treat you well anyway, he's a really good guy. He did my front fender recently and it's a beautiful job...
BTW, DAWG's right, the cherry is the prettiest, and happens to be the fastest too, for some reason........
