This SERG is the most impressive scooter , not comparible to all other harleys , let`s see when they will bring the next CVO Roadglide , Upgrade this bike is only possible when this will become truth someday in future time . Nothing else matters .

Well color is in the eye of the beholder. I had a chance to buy the orange one “Orange Crush” but down here in the deep south where the alligators’ grow old and mean LOL I could not see myself at a stop sign in August when it’s a 100 degree with high humidity and love bugs sticking to every thing and looking at that dashboard staring back at me in orange but I do think it’s a good looking bike. My self I waited 4 more months for the silver one to come in and it was worth it My new SERG3  “Silber Bullitt” was worth the wait, I really think the Stardust Silver and Titanium Dust is the best looking one I was at a car show and put my bike in the bike division and they had a yellow on there and mine took 1st place grant you it was not a big bike show but it just showed me I had pick the right color. So good luck in your journey to find a SERG no matter what color you end up with you will be happy. Here’s a pick of my “silver bullet” the only thing I suggest is change the windshield out the one that came from Harley makes it look good but not practical I have a 14” KW on mine and I also put the fullsac baffles in for a little more rumble did not like the Honda sound with the stock pipes. Do a search on this site for fullsac and you will learn more about how to install them your self.

I upgraded from a 2006 Ultra Classic to the SERG.  Had to have the Stardust Silver and Titanium because everyone on this site said it was the fastest.  It is the best handling touring bike that I have owned.  Best looking to!

I have a Sliver SERG, and just love the bike.  Best Harley I have ever ridden.  I think it is all that.

Just a few minor things to the engine and you have lots of torque.  Change the Baffels to Fullsac, remove the cat from the head pipe and add a good tune, like the TTS I got from Fullsac.

I always get complements on it where ever I go.  Its a joy to ride.

Like many on here I paid MSRP, but no other crap added on to the price.

Whether the SERG is "all it's supposed to be" depends on what one thinks it is supposed to be.  :nixweiss:  The new frame is definitely better and you'll have more confidence in turns, especially if you're riding aggressively.  If you're coming off the SEUC you might miss some of its amenities, King tour pak, CB, XM, plush seat.  So, think about how much you want those things on your bike.  You can dress up the SERG but that gets $$$$.  Don't they all?  Some can't get used to the fixed fairing but the bike steers lighter and thus feels like it handles so much better.  It is certainly a show stopping bike.  People come up to me all the time to compliment the bike and color.  $36K for a used one is high unless it has all those amenities (and maybe a Jims 131").

I've had more than my share of 2009 SERG Warranty Claims so you might want to read that thread and check each of the items on the bike you want to buy:  Seat fit, ACR's, tire cupping would be the ones to look at closely.  It will run hot until you change to better fluids and mod as discussed in the SERG boards.  Here's my list but there are many:  SERG AND CVO: VERY GOOD TO ME! NEXT?  These bikes are really just "starter kits."  Half the fun is "modding on."  :huepfenlol2:

The argument over the Best Color continues.  In person, each color is beautiful!  Nothing could be more subjective.   As you can tell from reading above, (Disclaimer:  No intent to offend anyone)

       Jason's wheels have fallen off.
09S/E roadglide's idea of science is base on his dyslexia.
       Crusty has fabulous pictures!   :2vrolijk_21:
Terry (Hawg Sounds) has an outrageous bike but is color blind.  (And can't keep up.)
       nvwldthg is confused about women.
Klaus (Highjagger) is German.  Seems like all German vehicles are Silver.
Big T's bike is beautiful and they all are but what's up with the reflectors?
TN knows the word to Rocky Top and thus might be a red neck.
       aclass is a hypocrite
       grip is full of Bunkie
FLSTFI Dave is.... I seem to have run out of wit.   :huepfenlol2:

Bottom line, not too many used ones out there!

Greg, that sure is a nice looking shot of the Great looking SERG's.  They all look good, but Silver is best.

ROFLMAO!  Eastern Californians are not confused about women.  That's why there's a state line.  Honestly, I only know what my wife tells me.  And, when John beat me to the buy on a yellow one, she said it.  She's a school teacher and she knows these things.  So, thank a teacher that you can read this.

I truly love my silver SERG. Now after 8000km
it's in for the service, change the front-tire (for free),
check the chroming-issue at the back and a new saddle.

I would buy it again tomorrow!!!!

My wife says, that the bike is more aggressive than the
Heritage, i traded in, in acceleration and braking. But that
was, what I was looking for: more power and better stoppers.

PS : pic taken at the GTG at the european bikeweek 2009
