Sporty what do you mean you have to work more?
is that your always having to look over your shoulder? To make matters worse I'm also thinking of changing to bars to wild 1 575's like I had on my 06. I think that may block those mirror. Sh&* I just don't know
Trey,
The extra effort is not a matter of having to look over your shoulders. The fairing mounts require you to put a little more effort shifting your body into appropriate (different) positions to get a good look in the rear view mirrors. This is due to the position of the mirrors on the fairing in relation to your seating angle on the seat. The bar mount mirrors allow a more direct line of site from your riding position to the mirror, so you have direct line of site to when viewing the rear mirrors. When i first installed my faring mount mirrors i didn't like them because i was constantly changing my body to different positions to get a good look in the mirrors, but after a little while i got used to it and is not longer a issue for me. In fact i now prefer the fairing mount to the bar mount. I think most people that have the faring mounts will say they hated them but got used them and now like them..

Just be aware, if you change over to the fairing mount, your going to be stuck with them, unless you want to shell out a few more hundred bucks to deal with the unsightly holes you have to drill into your inner fairing to mount them.
