I imagine if you were to ask the nice folks at the MoCo they would tell you that riding in the rain is not an approved use of this product and you have therefore voided any warranty, expressed or implied.  It was your responsibility to provide a rain hat for the dipstick. 

The next iteration of this fine product will most likely have an optional rain cover, $10.99, for you to snap over the LCD to keep the rain out.  As for the ones that get oil inside the display, the rain cover won't help that.  They'll try to fix that problem on the next design change.

Well speed, or lack of it, can't be the cause cuz everyone knows that red is the fastest and Duane has that covered...assuming you are talking about your bike  :laugh:
