Thanks,
I was trying to use the Data plug (under right cover on my 05 FLHTCSE2) as the accessory plug connection (91843-97 Supplemental 12v power). I couldnt figure out why I was getting very, very low voltage reading off the plug until I read this thread. I found the accessory plug in front of the battery as discribed, the two plugs are identical looking. Now trying to decide to connect the Zumo or heated gear to the acc. switch.

I wouldn't connect the heated gear.  The Accy circuit may not hold the laod, depending on how much gear you have.  A full set, jacket, pants, gloves, shoe liners, is just under 15 amps.

I'll be under ten amps ( jacket liner, gloves and insoles). I'll also have a inline 10 amp fuse and I believe the Acc. is fused at 15 amps. The Acc will give me the option to easily turn on and off the gear while operating at a higher rpm. The dual controller can be difficult with the thick gloves on.

I remember from reading the manual on the heated vest you are suppose to hook it directly to the battery.... the othe thing that can go into the plug is a tail that has a cig lighter end that will reach into the saddle bag so you can put your phone in there and charge it while you are riding....

OK......I'm confused. Under the left cover i find two grey plugs. One has a module pluged into it, the other has a removable rubber plug which I assumed is the dia. plug. Under the seat I find a dead end two wire plug pluged into a cover that is attached to the battery cover but when I test it with a light, it's not cycling with the switch. One of the wires is yellow or yellow and grey.....I'm trying to remember I'm not at the bike. Anyhow I'm confused which is not unusual.
that is for a battery tender

Now that everybody has found the extra plug....What else can you use it for beside the LED lights?
the Acc plug under the seat has 4 wires, 2 grounds and 2 hot, 1 hot is always hot, the other is a switched hot . you can id this with a tester. I use the constant hot for stuff, just piggy back it, but now I am piggy backing off the fuse box, led's

Dunno about that Larry.  I checked yesterday when I installed my heated gear harnesses.  There is, as you state, a 4 connector plug for the accy under the seat.  Under the left cover, there are 2 plugs...one is the ECM plug, but I don't know what the other is.  I thought it was the accy plug, but obviously not.

On our SG, I installed a Harley Y adapter to said connector. On One side , I wired for light extra lights (1 brake, one running) and the other I hooked to a relay to which a fused hot from the bat. and the heated gear pig tail were connected. (Instructions via Jim...hd-dude) . Both sides retained the 2 additional wires. The extra run/brake lights work as normal and the heated gear is now switched via the acc. switch.  No load or wire size worries.  Again, the plug is 1 ground, 1 acc. switched hot, 1 brake, 1 running.
