Just to make sure we're all clear here; he's talking about the bike right?

Affirmative.

Hey, MJZ, did you get that thing on there yet, or haven't you been able to put the beer down yet? [smiley=drink.gif]

No to both ;D, have not put it on yet and have not put the beer down. I only had one so I have to get by the H-D store and get another. Only got one to try it out first.

Hey, what kind of license plate mount is that? Drilled into the fender or hanging from the lightbar? If it the later, coul you take some side shots...and maybe a part number? I am so needy!

Thanx!

Looks good MJ.  Touching them up in yellow was a nice touch.  I've got emblems in roughly the same locations on my bags also.  It's just a big empty space that could use a bit of help.  Those really look good there.  What is that round chrome ring thing below the left filler strip?  The thing hanging between the left muffler and the wheel?

I bought the bike with 11 miles on her and it was as delivered from the stealer. I just assumed it was a standard OE item. Does every 05 SEEG not have this? Although I am the second owner of this bike, I did not think the original owner did anything but drive it home and let it sit in his garage for a month.
Now you made me curious, I'll have to go look at JR's and see.

That is the stock mount that came on the '05 SEEG2.  Follow this link to the H-D web site, p/n 53702-04      http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524448767804&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302290599&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302290599&bmUID=1138550000269&bmLocale=en_US

That's a Memphis thang, a blue Kuryakyn light.......I understand they are illegal in some states but I've never heard of anybody getting a ticket for one.

Yup, they're illegal in NH. If the shop is straight up, you won't get a inspection sticker. The remedy is, simply replace the tail lens with non-blue dot durring State Inspection, then switch it back. Oh ya!! don't get caught at Laconia Bike Week, the troopers durring bike week in NH will even make you remove the tire valve stem lights that some people run. The troopers keep them. Who knows, maybe the cops have a vender that buys all the valve stem lights at the end of each day. Stranger things have happened.
