TriGlide Steering Damper on an '07 SERK!

Well, I'm trying it out. There is a total of 8 parts you need to install this setup; including the damper, brackets, and all the hardware. Cost is just under 500 bucks. It's still unconfirmed that it'll fit on an older frame or not, but we don't see any reason why it won't work. All the parts needed to be ordered, so it'll be a lil while til I see this stuff. Jenni shipped my other parts yesterday, so I might just install those to get Cybil back together, and add the damper setup later on. I'll get pics and let youze know what I think! ;)

HeHe!!! Good question! Actually, this'll do absolutely nothing for you or anyone else here. Hopefully it'll help me get to the root of high speed wobble and eliminate it on Cybil. If it does help at all, it could then potentially help the rest of youze by me spending the $$$ to try it, and report the results back to youze! ::) ;D ;)

That depends on the time line. Will it be during the first month after installation?  Or in 6 months after Howie has blown another engine trying to make the damper fail?  :huepfenjump3:

First month.  Can't blame the damper when shrapnel from the front jug has rocker arm all over it :huepfenlol2: !

I'm hoping that dampening the front will help stabilize it, and dampens any oscillation before it turns into a wobble. Would I bet on that? HELL NO!!! ::) :-\ :D ;)

Nah, it's Howie's butt in the saddle.  That trumps any other consideration.  Biggest dog in the fight right there.

We all know that just because we buy something doesn't absolutely mean we're sure it's going to work.  So Howie's bet here is a curiosity.

Hoist,
As the owner of a Tri Glide I would tell you that the first generation steering dampners had problems,,, in high temps the oil leaked out of them. The second generation has not had any problems, make sure you get the latest one.
