I highly reccommend the folks at Fast Aire     www.fastaire.com

They sell shields for FLHT that fir the 04 SEEG. They have a number of sizes in clear and smoked versions. The prices are great (less than $30) and the service is awsome.

I have bought several shields from them during the past couple of years and have yet to be dissappointed.

To all you SEEG owners who have switched to a taller windshield.  The stock windshield provides me no protection, whatsover.  Matter of fact, the stock windshield causes severs turbulence directly into my eyes (I'm 5"7" dripping wet).  My sunglasses are all over the place. [smiley=thumbsdown.gif]

Is there much difference betrween the 4", 5", 6", 7" or 8" heights?

Help...............

I know what ya mean Ben. You should try it in 30 degree temps. I had an 8" on my last bagger and was real happy with the wind protection but I could still see over it. I've got an 8" on the way from fastaire. Can't say on the other size. Oh I'm 5'10. [smiley=confused5.gif]

I am 5'8" and switched to the 7" windshield.  I get some wind on the top of my head but sunglasses are no problem wit turbulance. I also look over the 7". I think the 8" would anoy me trying to look over.

I've got the 9" and at 6'1 I would really have to crouch down to see through it. I can still wear a baseball cap with no problem. My opinion is yes 1 or 2 inches makes a big difference.
First time me and my wife agreed!

By the way, Starvin was talkin' about a windshield, right?

To all windshield experts, I am 6' 6" and the joke that harley calls a wind deflector does just that, it deflects the wind right into my face. So I don't have to try ten different shields can anybody give me an estimate on height?

Scream I am 6'4" tall and I have the 8" dark tint.  The wind hits be right at the top of my head (and the bugs usually hit me in my bumper sized forehead! [smiley=laugh.gif] ) so you're probably gonna need at least the 9" light smoke tint.
