At least we can see grass Gary.    :cherry:

Here's from the other side.  Didn't get edging/piping this time per JCZ's recommendations.   Thanks JC..

I must add that I sit in the bike with the Corbin and not on it like the stock seat.   I did like the stock seat in that it heated well and was wide for a wide bottom guy like me.

I know most don't care for the wingtip fairing lights that function for running/turnsignals, but I think they make you more visible (I hope).   Had them on the 05 and my wife's 09..

I hit grass/mulch a couple of times when I was cleaning the driveway/sidewalk out... as for really seeing it... someday. :bigcry:

Great Job!  Thanks for all the details and pics.  I hope I am in the market to buy when you decide to sell ;D

Sure like those fairing lights....who makes them and how hard are they to install?

Am I seeing things, or is there a gap between the seat and the tank?

I really like the look of that seat.

You guys don't miss anything.    :)  Need to bend the seat tab/tank bracket a little at the front.

Regarding the wingtip lights, I have a love/hate relation with them.  I like them but they are a PIA to install.

Biketronics makes them and you can order from them by calling.  Electraglidegoodies sells them for the same price but can be bought online.

They are plugnplay regarding the wiring.  Getting them conformed to the fairing is the tricky part.  You remove a section of the rubber v molding on each side between the inner and outer fairings.  The light strips mount the same way.  I use 3M super weatherstrip adhesive and then use small c shaped hobby clamps to hold each side in place for 3-4 days.  They will then stay in place when removing/installing the outer fairing.

It helps to have another set of hands when installing the LED strips and tightening the c clamps.

Your bike looks great with all the changes.  Just wondering if you have a part number for the oil temp guage as I would like to install one in mine as well.

Thanks

Thanks for the part number - I appreciate it.  I plan on installing the guage this winter.

Pray that everything works as it should when done.   To Jim (Hd-dude), Porthole (Duane) and 2lane Don it is no problem.

Like you've had any problems working on the other bikes ............................................

Most of this stuff was done on the 05 and it was a 1st class bike when it was done.

What happened to this first class bike?

Here's the tourpack brace I had on my 05..  You have to recycle some of these things.

What exactly are you talking about here?

Has a lot more bucket than the seat on my SEEG2..  Dual controls on the heated seat.

Sure does look like a better bucket. If mine had that I would probably like it more. I've about decided to give up on the Corbin. I like the heat, but it never gave me the comfort that others seem to get. And Deb doesn't like it all.

So for now, when I need the heat it will be the Sun Ray, no heat and Deb riding - it will be the comfort stitch, no Deb and no heat and under 200 miles - that fancy single Corbin that I have. Over 200 and I'll use the Air Hawk.

Unless I put the tourpak on, then it automatically gets a "puffy" seat.

I finally have the new bike to where the old bike was.     :cherry:

Biggest thing is with the handlebars and seat, I sit in the bike again and not on it.

Given the amount of work involved and the limited time since purchase you actually got that reconfiguration done in short order.  Some of us take longer to get all that done....  ::)
