Chuck (CAP) met up with Terrie and I at 7:00 a.m. in Elk Grove this morning and we all three rode down to Eagle's Nest HD in Lathrop, Ca. where we hooked up with Jon (Jonga and wasJons) & Susan.

I've mentioned on this forum before that this dealership is the #1 volumne dealer in Calif. for motorcycle sales and #3 nationwide for overall sales.  This is the dealership that had the cast of Sons of Anarchy there about a month ago. 

The dealership gave each of the cast members a motorcycle.  Looks like the show (or cast) is giving back.......

We stopped by Jim's shop and left Susan's SG to get some mods done. 

We hooked up with Andy and Ernie and rolled to a local restaurant for breakfast.

With Chuck being new to Cali. we led him across the bay bridge, through San Francisco and across the Golden Gate.  It was a windy day so it was crystal clear with visability for miles and miles.

CVOs on the bay....

Besides the wind.....was another great ride.

Terrie and I rode with Chuck as far north as Cotati where we got off of Hwy. 101 and headed to the dealership.  Chuck kept riding.....headed to the redwoods.  He's never been there before, so he's in for a treat tomorrow! :2vrolijk_21:

I have to agree with Ernie about the wind.... it didn't get any better on the way home. Susan was a little freaked out about it, but handled it like a seasoned rider. I'm pretty impressed with her new abilities......GO Girl. Great to see some of the gang and meet a new riding buddy. Having fun with the newest geek mods, (GPS). Didn't need anything to tell me how to get home..... guess I'll have to go somewhere I haven't been  :huepfenlol2: :huepfenlol2: go figure. Thanks again for the input and speedy service Jim (h-d dude)..... Jon

Hey guys, thanks so much for the escort through the Bay Area... it gave me the chance to just gawk around and not really have to pay attention to where I was going. Nice to meet Jim and see his shop and nice to meet John, Suzie, Ernie, and Andy as well... thanks for making the new guy feel welcome!  BTW, the rest of my trip was stellar... here's the whole route between Sat/Sun if you're interested.  CAP
