I know I have told you guys that this has been my most positive buying experience EVER. I did not know this Dealership in anyway before I made that first phone call. The sign was not the only gift I received when I picked my bike. I also got a Coffee Mug, a Pen and a 15% Discount Card good for one year on all Parts, Accessories and Clothes. Check out their web site www.benbreecehd.com   :2vrolijk_21:

Post the name of that Dealership so we all know where not to show. I hate people that Suck.

Let's just say it's in northern Mississippi and carries the name of the largest Harley dealer in the country... R.I.P.  - And to be clear, I am not being sarcastic nor coy about the R.I.P. part... my momma taught me to have respect, even for those that I disagree with...

Well dang........ you guy's got stuff.  I got my bike at MSRP, no set up fees or BS.  I asked for a hat and he said yes then I forgot to get one before I left.  Won't get over the mountains again until next spring when the snow melts and I hope by then the other road is open from the big land slide that closed it, I like to make the trip via the two mountain passes.   I still like the Dealership, Owen's HD in Yakima Washington, didn't get a sign, but I did get HONEST service, and thats worth more to me than any sign they could give.  (but Chris I sure do like the one you got!!!!)

Mark I feel pretty good about the deal I got. I went to our HOG Chapter meeting last night and I found out that another member did not buy from our sponsor dealership. Now that's 5 members in the last 8 or 9 weeks that are going of of state to buy bikes.  :nixweiss:

Walker's HD, Pacific Jct., IA: Free advertising t-shirt.  Oh, and I got screwed, but not in the good way.  The t-shirt is used during oil changes now.

Well, Smokey Mountain Harley in Marryville TN has treated me great.  Got a very good deal on the wifes 883L in 07 when I bought it.  Then they treated me very good on my SERG.  Then I was treated fantastic when I traded the 883L on the wifes 09 Heritage, great deal.  I have also been given several little items.  I have been invited to parties for Valued customers and so on.

However even if they gave me nothing, just the way they treat me and the wife would keep me coming back.  I great service from the service dept.  I get good deals on bikes, better than any of the other dealers I have delt with.  The owner will talk with customers and listen to them too.

I fault the sponsoring dealer, here he/she has a "captive" group of people to benchmark the dealership off.  If so many of "your own" folks are not buying from you, then it's time to look at your business model.  Over the years,  I have only seen 1 owner visit the meetings and ask for feedback. thoughts,  and if your NOT doing business with him, he wanted to know why.  Stand up guy, asked what he could do better do earn your business. He listened, if was something he could do he did, if not, he said he could'nt, what more could you ask for....

I know it's harder now days with HD making the owners build these multi-million dollar facilities on some very expensive realestate.... but sometimes it's the smallest of things that builds loyality.....  just my pennys worth.

First there was the three set display of tanks.
Now it's the display of bikes.
Neat little gifts that look good on the wall.

Yeah, but the tanks and bike displays are not really dealer gifts. They come as a Moco bonus when you spend $300 on H-D stuff during the pre-xmas season.
I have the tanks (which are actually xmas tree ornaments), and left them in the boxes. But the little plastic bikes, I have taken out of the box and put on the inside of the door of my Harley closet. These bikes are actually half forms made out plastic, but they look somehow very good on the wall.

Ride safely,
Louis
