R&R used to be Power Commander territory only, linktune to an AFR and send it down the road, no individual cylinders no timing unless there was a problem.
No SERT or TTS tuning done there.
Times change and they may have.
They also tune with the Variable tuner"learning Tuner" from S&S. Anyone have any experience with it? I had one on my 06 SG. It was a little quirky at the time. They needed to have it four times to finalise the tune to my satisfaction. It was a good tune when it was finished though.

Yeah I have this same unit installed and tuned by Robert on my 04 FLTSCI with Kuryakyn 95in Crusher kit, Wild Things Heads, TC26 Cam, SS Gear Drive Wild Things Throttle Body, Super Trapp dual exhaust and Fish Tail fins.   106 HP 101 TQ.  Left a few HP and TQ on the table cause of the dual exhaust.  But quite happy now with the bike, No problems and fast as it can be!  SWEEEEEET Ride Now!

Nothing against the Wild things gear and another example of the whole system working well. Dollars and cents though those heads and other parts all add up to a bundle.

Personally I would port the stock heads and for equal money end up with a 107", a timken, and welded balanced crank.

As far as a tuning device the TTS is the cats meow and it enhances the already proven robust Delphi OEM ECU. Jarz and Lonewolf (Russel Ingles) are very familiar and capable with the TTS, SERT and SEST.

Here is a dyno of a little build on a 95", total cost including the tune, customer had the pipes and SERT $2650 and he paid me to build it in that budget 101hp 108tq with bagger OEM duals and V&H slip-ons, TW5-6R cams, just street ported heads. Sorry the image is small crosses 100tq at 2,600rpm

T MAC.

From what i Have hears Latus HD are supposed to be pretty knowledgeable and good at tuning HD. No personal work done for me. If you want one of the best in the Northwes and you don't mind going up to Abbostford BC. Lee and Darrlell at JARZ Performane are the best. They have done 4 tune over the last six years, have always found HP and TQ others couldn't.

They are 1000 miles round trip for me to use.

I took your advise and made my appoint with Lee at JARZ. I go up there March 30.. I'll see what
he thinks of what my local tuner did to my build.

Scotty,

Good for you, you will not be disappointed. I bet Lee and Darrell will find some hidden HP and TQ. He will make you bike run better and explain what he did and why he did, one thing he won't do is trash the other tuner.

Tell him I say Hi.

Yes but not recently
Their dyno operator wears a respirator FWIW. :nixweiss: If he can't breath the air in there how is the bike supposed to get a good tune? In the past they tuned to a time and sent it out the door.
