Jvall   I was at the Tulsa Route 66 Dealer last week and there was a guy in there that had his 06 FLHTCUSE Black and Slate in for the 1000-mile service.  I was looking over his bike as he had the V & H Ovals & True duels An SEAC and the map Part # 34304-06 The reason I know what map he used the Service Mgr Tim looked it up to make sure I think he said he had the bike for 3 or 4 weeks and it was done at delivery.

I would suggest that you ask him if he has ever heard of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (Federal Law), and if he hasn't you may want to advise him to improve his education before he steps on his d***.

Don't have our Black Crimson and slate yet but it's scheduled to arrive sometime late February. Went to the dealer Saturday to talk about add on's inclduding a SERT, SE AC, V&H oval slip on's and some other chrome goodies. Not going with the true duals yet.

The main thing I checked into was maping of the ECM and here's what I found. Thanks to FR8TRN, I went prepared with the latest SERT files that cover the 103 with a SE AC and SE pro slip ons. The dealer did actually have the newest SERT update files which cover the 103, calibration #36, but it was great to pull out the printout of the SERT update version 4.5.2 and compare to what they had. Thanks to FR8TRN!

I also gathered some additional information as follows;

SE AC part # 29440-99c
SE PRO slip ons part # 65115-99b (other SE slip on's will work)
ECM cartridge part # 34304-06
ECM flash part # 34303-06

They claim both the flash and cartridge are available now. The cartridge sounds like it does the same thing as the flash but is actually a part installed in or attached to the ECM.

The slip on's and the AC are from the SE Pro catalog and aren't listed in the standard large catalog. They state they aren't legal for street use, too bad, ha.

I went with the SERT since I think it gives you a lot more options and can be tweaked later on as things are changed. I plan on having it DYNO'ed ater a break-in period. They charge $70.00 per hour on the DYNO and estimate four hours.

As things progress, and if I hear more, I'll pass them along.

Bojiboy,

So going with the SERT then you won't need the

ECM cartridge part # 34304-06
ECM flash part # 34303-06

The SERT would just delete these when you use it.

Good point Mike, you have to choose only one. I hope the part numbers help those who's dealers don't seem to be able to come up with these choices.

Still hope the ship date holds true for the end of Feb. I don't have a VIN yet but hope to get a confirmed ship date this week.

Well you don't have to, I'm sure some dealers would be happy to do the flash for you then turn around and sell you a SERT right after that, it's all about the mighty dollar to them.

You'll have it in the garage before ya know it.....

Armed with the info provided to me from FR8TRN, my dealer miraculosly found the download
& installed it in my bike. She runs GREAT & idles like a kitten.
I finally got it home last night. Thanks to everybody for the wealth of information on this site,
especially to FR8TRN.

I have to second jvall, Thanks FR8TRN for the #36 map.  I had spent good hard earned money for the dealer to dyno my bike.  He loaded the older 2005 SEEG map and tuned from there.  The bike would not idle correctly or crank when cold without several trys.  I got the new map loaded and the bike has run perfectly ever since.  I have added the SE A/C with the K&N filter and the SEII slip-ons and just love this bike.

Thanks again FR8TRN [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

Can you tell me if SE Aircleaner #29440-99c will work with the stock cover?

Well, I know MoCo makes something that works for the '06 because others around here have it.  I just don't know if that's the right part number.   Train, or someone else with a CUSE and SE/AC?

Can't say for sure, but I think it will. The dealer didn't mention anything about it not working when I picked the SE AC. I know several others have used it and no one has mentioned needing to change the cover. I'll be stopping at the dealer tomorrow and will ask.

There is also a SE chrome backplate available for the SE AC. It's listed in 06 SE Pro catalog on page 28. You can download the catalog at the following;

http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/content/pages/racing/screamin_eagle_parts.jsp?locale=en_US&bmLocale=en_US&HDCWPSession=DRBycj9NSVN1w4bJLQzbb8hG9KcXNHfTZnXQzmd6pw9YFrzyP2R2!-2014171990!-1714384062

Says this is a new part.

I'll bet others will comment soon as well.....

Let us know how it works for you.
