You'll need 6 of the screws that hold the light envelope into the facia and 6 nuts for the stud plates

The light envelopes have the load EQ built into them.

You will also need to change the connector on the rear fender harness as it is different for the CVO models and the standard street glide.

Good luck!
I appreciate the help.  I just want to verify...is that 6 screws and 6 nuts per LED/stud plate?  Or, 6 total (3 each LED)?  Also, do I need a 2 stud plates p/n # 59818-09 (1 per LED)?

On the parts list I have, there is a stiffening plate p/n # 60919-09...only one is needed?

Last, I have the wiring harness p/n # 70338-09 ordered...I hope this is the one you mentioned.

Again, thanks.  Bryan

6 total of the screws for the LEDs'. 6 total for the stud plate, 3 per side for both. Yes you need 2 stud plates and two stiffening plates, one per side of each. I do not have the part #'s here but can verify the harness tomorrow.

The appendix in the HD Service Manual will explain how to disassemble the connector and replace the wires with the new, compatible connector for the harness.  Also, the wiring diagrams in the Appendix for the CVO SG  and non-CVO SG will allow you to correctly assemble the wires in the new connector.

Props to hd-dude for sharing the fruits of his "homework" (i.e. studying the wiring diagrams and parts books to figure out how to do the mod and have everything work as it should--very few guys "in the business" as Jim is are willing to share such information with civilians.

brypink, hopefully you will start a "how to" thread with part nos., quantities, and pictures of your project--it would be an outstanding contribution.

The 70338-09 is the correct harness. You will need to cut the plug off of the new harness and replace it with the plug from your old fender harness

Wow!!!!  What a great job!!!  Amazing!!!

I Love the rear end of the new SESG and the SERG!!  I am actually thinking of trading my 2006 SEUC for a 2009 SERG!!

The amp was removed and the system upgraded with the Hawg-Wired "Four in the Face" system. See this thread for info:

Did you do anything with the TP speakers or just leave them in place as non-functional?

They work when the tour pack is on. Powered from the radio's internal amp.
