Dealership states "June 3rd" for mine. It did move up one day last week... :orange:

Anyone seen any higher numbers than #374 of 999?

Check this out! Someone on Ebay out of Arkon, OH listed a 2010 CVO Black/Crimson Ultra for $47,500.00 with no trade in. I believe it's a dealership which listed incorrect information on the production numbers (3500 made) WOW!!!

My dealer (Stormy Hill Clermont, FL) just called telling me they just uncrated theirs. #469 but he also told me they wanted $39,900 for it. I'm going to look, but...

Well I had a ship date of 6 May but just found out it shipped out on 27 Apr.  It should be at the dealer either Tuesday or Thursday (their normal days).   :huepfenjump3:

The 2010 CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide was already a limited production model, with only 3,500 units manufactured. Now comes the news of an even more exclusive, darker, version of the CVO Ultra, with Harley-Davidson building only 999 uniquely numbered units. The serialized edition ...

I wonder if it sells at that price. One never knows ;-).

Don't give in to the temptation... My bet is that they'll announce some really cool colour schemes for the 2011 CVO's in July (just a couple of months away).  If black is your colour, possibly the newer version will have lots and lots of chrome.

Then with any luck all the greedy bastards (charging excessive amounts over MSRP) will be stuck trying to unload all kinds of the 2010-1/2 "Dark" ones, and won't be able to give them away.

That would total 4,499 2010 CVO Ultras built this year, which I believe makes 2010 the largest production year to date for these models.

Mmmm, I guess 2010 isn't much of an "exclusive" year after all... Still very nice bikes though.

As suggested in another thread on this site, simple marketing is all it is.

Thats one way of looking at it.

But the other CVO's are not numbered, with 200 going over seas and 700+ staying in the US i would say that is a limited editon.

By the way my ship date is May 21st, it sounds like most of them are coming in 10 days early I hope mine does, and yes I did pay only MSRP.  :bananarock: :bananarock:
