FYI,

I called them and they are expecting the bike in a week or so.  They ARE charging freight and set up.  Would not discount those fees off.

hmmm.......must be they give the local crowd just a little more love.  :nixweiss:

Obviously their call.

Took mine out for the first time this weekend. 600 mls. Runs great out of the box. Ventilator air filter, Super SERT and Kess Tech mufflers to be added tomorrow. Expect some more punch and better sound. For the first time the tourpak lights are included for HDI and - big surprise - the Zumo 660 aka HD Roadtech. Also very impressed with the remote, which on this bike actually locks the fork (and ignition) as well. Very convenient. The liners have been upgraded too and look almost like actual luggage. Have I mentioned the engine is black? All in all a very nice package (at a price).

So far so good. Off to the south of France next Wednesday.

Cheers,
Louis

That's amazing that they can ship a bike to Frankfurt quicker than the State where they are built!

Congrats and enjoy a safe and happy ride.

We'll keep an eye open for your pics, no doubt coming soon.  :2vrolijk_21:

It's blows me away that Harley Davidson can ship to dealerships who change over MSRP and not to a dealer who sell for MSRP, which by the way I put my $1000.00 down in Feb 1st. The distance thing also.....I agree DUNK2

Remote fork lock?  Must have pictures.

Don

From what I remember at the display in Daytona is that you still turn the knob to lock the forks but the lock cylinder "locks" when the button is pushed.

Thanks Bob.  That's not nearly as exciting.  I almost had tingles for a moment before you spoiled it for me....  ???

Mother Harley could care less what the dealers sell the bikes for. As long as the Stealers are ordering bikes HD wins who cares about the customer.  :soapbox:

Where are you located?  Our bikes may be on the same truck.  I'm in PA.
