Picked up #839 today.....rained all the way back home 3 1/2 hours away. It's now at my dealer here getting front and back lowering and pullback handlebars bringing it 2 inches closer to me. My new Corbin seat is awesome...it's 1000 times better than I dreamed....brings me closer and lower and its really comfy right from the get go. It has lots of cushioning and it really does fit me like it was custom made just for me.  It is a very heavy bike for me though.  I think lowering it will help me lift it more easily. I'm getting diamond ice put around all the gauges to make it more feminine because it really needs that touch to say it belongs to a girl.
The weird thing is that I called XM yesterday.....they said they couldn't find the serial number I gave them....yet today the XM worked, but only getting certain channels.....what's up with that?
Also, has anyone noticed the brakes not being as "sharp" as they could be? Do they need breaking in or something? My friend who owns a CVO street glide 2010 says the brakes seem sluggish.
Other than that, the bike is a  rock solid ride.  Geeze, I love the looks of this bike.  It's soooo hot.

congrats on new bike, on my 1500 mile trip home with mine, the brakes were awesome (but no panic stops).  have read many other posts that many of these bikes need their brakes bled several times to get a crisp feel.
enjoy

Congratulations Debbie!

Enjoy your new "Darth Vader".

Once you get it lowered (great mod BTW), how about some pics to show how "Lean & Mean" these bikes can look?

Had to call XM several times until I finally got a person on the phone with a working brain.  Was told twice (incorrectly) that the Harley 3 month trial was not in effect.  It is.  Got a XM rep to stay on the phone until the radio came on - all channels - it was my 4th call to them.  The first 2 calls were a waste since i could not understand their reps so just hung up & called back.  Would not give them a credit card number since the service is not so great here due to trees and all.

Should get your bike to a dealer (pronto!) to have those brakes checked. If something is wrong need to get it fixed ASAP.

Most have said the bike looks much better in person than the pics.  Enjoy your ride!

Debbie I have the Riptide Blue Titanium Dust 10 SEUC. Once you get your feet on the ground when you lower it you will feel alot better about pushing it and backing up. It's all about balance and this bike is well balanced and loves twisty's!! I had an 08 SEUC KASPER which I traded in with 47,000 for the 2010 and this 2010 frame is sooo much better!! ENJOY!! Let's Ride!!(DB)

Took her out (#680 of 999) over the week end and rode 700 miles and it's truely awesome, much nicer than mine 2008 Ultra. Only problem is the stock windshield :( and getting a hold of XM Radio. Anyone know of  :2vrolijk_21:a company that stocks klock werks wind shields (8.5 smoke) that are not on back order? :bananarock:

#584 is sitting at Chesapeake HD in Darlington, MD.  Saw it sitting on the floor today, they are going over MSRP, $38,499 I asked why, they said, "Because they are in big demand and we are cheaper than some places are selling them"  I said "yeah if your talking about Daytona and Mikes Famous Overpriced Bikes."

Beautiful bike, but I gotta say, that cheesey little connector coming out for the GPS, I'd make em replace the inner fairing before buying one and leave that off.  When I was done looking I went and got a new rear rotor and pads for my '07 Ultra....it'll keep runnin for another year.

Southside HD in Virginia Beach just sold one weekend before last while I was standing there contemplating.  It was MSRP.  Said they don't expect anymore.

That was my bike up at Chesapeake.  I decided not to get it and moved my depsoit to a Candy Concord SE Street Glide.  It should be coming in on June 14th.  They will sell it at sticker.  I was going to buy it at sticker.  They also had 3 other back up deposits after mine and all three pulled out after they saw the bike.  It just wasn't for me.

Sorry to hear that, awesome looking bike only to some...Enjoy the street glide......
