Hey Hubbard - How do the 11.5" 440's handle when packin' 2up? [highlight]Any problem bottoming out[/highlight]??

Yeah, 'er 'uh, roadyrich,
Yes, until I found the sweet spot.  Just turned mine a couple clicks, counter-clockwise, and "voila", rides like a dream.  I perfer the soft ride, as opposed to the stiff, or hard ride.  I really like them!  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] Later--HUBBARD

I like the idea of the lower ride height using 11.5" 440's.

Along with that you may want to increase air pressure in your stock shocks first (maximum air pressure in manuals is incorrect). Check out this thread
I keep 45lbs in the stock shocks all the time.Whether I ride alone or 2 up. I check them every week, (kind of a hassle) but they do lose about 5-10 lbs after about a week or two.

I've been running mine at 15 psi solo, and 45 with a passenger.

Yeash, 'er ;uh, Pete,
Can't speak for BLM's Motorsickle, but mine has to be sitting straight up, off the kick-stand, to get my jack under it.  The Ride and the Look, is worth the hassle to me! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]  Later--HUBBARD

I have the 12 inch 440's on my seeg,no problem getting the jack up under her.I run mine two turns ,two up or single.I still think it's the best change I have made ,too make the ride smoother, two up.If riding alone the air shocks are livable. [smiley=pumpkin.gif] [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]

When you install the 11.5" 440's, are there any other adjustments that have to be made (i.e. drive belt, etc.) for the lowered ride height?
