Yep, and worth every penny.  Bu those guys on those SRs are just trying to save a few bucks.....they need to get their wallets out and get the finished look. :huepfenlol2:

I actually like the black on the SR - not to take away from the CG and TS folks that have painted it to match.
I like it so much that I decided to add some more. Did a custom radio face. It really adds something to it ... looks like the radio "belongs" now. It was a major biatch ... I went through 4 of the P& brushed metal ones to get it right. The bar and shield logo I added was rediculous - don't have 10 cups of java and then try to mark and line this up  :)

Plate itself was an issue because the metal is so thin it's hard to sand it in order to prep for paint.
Excuse the dust ....

TIF can you take a picture in the daylight (without flash)?  I'd like to see what you've done but can't hardly see it in this photo.

Or can someone post a picture of a stock radio. I think he's painted the faceplate black and added the B/S logo in the top right corner (above the Aux plug), but not having that radio I'm not sure what stock looks like off the top of my head. :nixweiss:

As suggested by some of you, my 2010 FLHXSE in concord recieved a nice chip out of the front fender in Laughlin, as suggested I sent it off to Gunslingers in Golden Colorado who just returned it and it is awesome, what a great job they did, very satisfied! Thanks for the input!

Thanks. :2vrolijk_21:
From comparing the pics it looks like the area around the buttons has been painted glossy black and B/S has been added. :nixweiss:

Right ... sorry I didn't explain it better - it's actually a P&A part that was sanded, shot with vivid black, graphic was added, then cleared over everything. It's a "reverse image" of this:

It's one of those really subtle mods that doesn't scream at you, but it makes the stock radio blend in more with the batwing. Just makes it look more "finished" in my opinion. Biggest problem was sanding that  cover (it's so thin it's hard not to damage it) and doing the graphic. Luckily they are pretty cheap so even trashing 3 of them to get it right wasn't all that expensive. I added the B&S graphic to tie the radio in with the speaker grill badges I made for the lower fairing speakers:
