I'm wondering... in 6 months to a year from now when the SEEG & SEURG are on the "pre-owned" market, how many will still have the original iPod Nano still with the bike?

Ok no problem.  The one dealer said that it might come today or tomorrow because they are having the 2011 model open house at their dealership this weekend and it should be there.  They did ask if it came in if they could use it to show this weekend.  I told him no problem, but no one is to sit on it...
Thats cool.

I wouldn't let it sit at the dealer one minute longer than it has to.  Way too many people are just not good at looking.  They have to put their paws all over things.  When I bought mine, I had them move it off the floor into their private bike delivery room before I would go to the office to start the paperwork.  Sure enough, while I was in the credit office, another salesman came to find me and ask me if this couple that came in could go look at my bike and sit on it.  I told him that as long as they didn't mind waiting until I was done, they could watch me ride away on it, and they did wait.

little ticked the 2011 CVO Ultra closely mirrors my Blk - not to worry, I'm enhancing the flames paint scheme anyway.

FYI -- Hope I got one of those "miracle bikes"  -- 6,300 miles thus far on the Blk, plus another 12 on the 08 with no significant problems.  Hope to keep this one a while -- maybe 100k !!

I have sat back playing on my BMW's for quite a while waiting on the 2011 CVO lineup. I was 95% decided to get the SEUC for the last month but after seeing them, I really can't get too excited about it. Now 3 of the SESG's are friggen perfect and I think because they so remind me of the 04-05 SEEG's. Having been away from Harley's for a year or so I assumed the 110 problems (which left such a bad taste from MoCo sent me to BMW) were history. After reading through this topic I'm a little uncomfortable going to my local stealer this week and grabbing the first SESG due in as planned. Damn, this is just like finding out there is no Santa. >:(

MJZ -- If you keep reading, many of us haven't experienced these problems.  I went BMW for a while also, then came to my senses and realized the whole time I was on the BMW, I wondered what it would be like back on my Harley -- go figure!!  Yes, I bought the 5 yr extended warranty.  No, I haven't had any major issues with either of my CVOs.

My starter went and the automatic compression releases (ACO).  The ACO's appeared to be the reason for the starter to go.  Minor inconvenience once the shop was convinced it was the ACO's that needed replaced.  That's the biggest problem I've had.  Everything's covered under the warranty that goes wrong and I haven't had anything that kept me off the road for more than the day.  Believe me, there have been days that I've thought about going the BMW or Goldwing route, but after a bit of soul searching, I still realize that I'd be going right back to where I was before I owned a Harley...wanting one again.

What year did they make the blue and black cvo road king? I really liked that color.

2007 Blue, Black , Red,  all with gold leaf flames
2008, Blue ,Black, both with tiny flames in the paint, and the Anniversary browns.

That is AWESOME.  Did you get the green?  I was told by numerous dealers the fist wave is the orange and black and then the green and black will be rolled out in September, at least where I live.  I do know that on the dealer sheet all that is listed for incoming color is Black Diamond.  They have to call the factory or rep to find the second color.  I had about 10 dealer ssay they were getting Black Diamond and did not know the second color.  After about 4 hours or so all called back stating they were getting the orange and black.  Can't wait to see the pics!!!!

I agree with several of the posts above.  I've ridden Harleys almost 100,000 miles and the only problem I've had is a voltage reg quitting due to a loose battery cable.  I've had Goldwings, Valkyries and Triumphs and not one of them was "FUN" to ride.  Every time I get on my Harley, I feel like it's a part of me.  There is NO other motorcycle like it...

Here's a pic of the Black Diamond 08 SERK. I still think this is one of Harley's best efforts.

WRONG!
I have 39000 miles on my 09 SEUC and I question the 110 everytime I crank it.
I am lucky to have a dealer that believes in good customer service.
I believe that anyone with a 110 that hasn't had issues is either very lucky or hasn't put enough miles on it.
For me and maybe only me (but I doubt it's just me) in comparison to my 01 SERG with 25K miles, my 03 Classic with 52K miles and Nancy's SEEG(s) my 09 110
is the least dependable motor in my garage. I'm not crying about it but after 39K miles and all the issues I have had, I am hoping I may have a motor in my 09 that I can finally feel good about. Time will tell!

SBB

SBB,

My original motor died in 2008 at 24,500 miles. HD replaced it with a 2009 motor and I now have 66,800 miles and have not had one problem with the motor. I just finished a trip from Michigan to Texas, the Southwestern GTG, Sacramento, Yellowstone, Deadwood/Mt. Rushmore area, HD Museum, Michigan UP and back to Grand Rapids. Only problem was the bearing behind the clutch making noise and it was replace under extended warranty.

My bike just has slip-ons and the SE AC so it does not make the Torque and HP that a 110 with a cam would make but then again it does not put as much pressure on the internal parts because of it.

Sorry you have had so many problems with your motor.
