As luck would have it, the weather was $h!7 today for riding, so I packed up the wife and son and we headed out for breakfast...just so happens it was in the general direction of our local dealer. After breakfast I managed a "hey, there's the Harley dealer" as we drove and we stopped in to take a look around. My son and I worked our way back to the shinny parts section and my wife went looking at the cloths. I was deep in thought, picking out the next bit I needed to have for my bike when my son say's "hey daddy, is mommy getting a motorcycle too?". I gave myself a chuckle and said, "I don't think mommy would like to ride a motorcycle herself". My son being a chip off the old block then say's, "then why is she sitting on that motorcycle?". I turn around and there's my pretty wife sitting on a blue and silver Ultra Classic with all the extras on it (ed note: she's always been scared to death to sit on any of our other bikes). I head over to where she's at and ask what's up and she says "I want this one". I give her a shocked look and say "you're kidding right". Nope, that's the one she wants. Then I make my big mistake, I say "you can't have a Harley, you don't even know how to ride a bike". Well, if your wife is like mine than you already know I'm done for. Now she's gotten real determined, she starts asking Joe our sales guy a whole bunch of questions, how does this work, how does that work, what upgrades you can get etc. She heads over to the chrome section and starts looking at all of the options, I should have kept my mouth shut

We spent about an hour at the dealer and when we got home she asked me to show her how to ride a bike. So, I pulled out my old Nighthawk 750, start it up and she starts practicing clutch and break use. Inside of 10 minutes she's riding up and down the driveway. We'll at least now I'll have someone close by to go riding with [smiley=gorgeous.gif] Though I don't know how I'm gonna afford two chrome habits
