You make a point...perfect fit....for $35K+, the darn sickle should fit.  Cars at that price have adjustable seats, some even powered!  And steering wheels adjust....SO that SHOULD be included in the SE package, right thru the windshield.  We shouldn't have to pay and pay to adjust the seat, buy a taller windshield, change the grips, the handlebars, the highway bars, the suspension, and on and on.
I mean....WTF?!?!  :soapbox:

Maybe for my wife, yes....but for me, not a chance.

I've only rode 3 Harleys: mine, an 08 Fat Bob, and an 09 Rocker.  The Fat Bob and Rocker would have required far too many upgrades to get to where my SERK started.  Plus, after getting used to a tuned 110, the stock 96 seems a bit underpowered.

What you don't think that Harley will be getting into the 3 and 4 wheel Sr Scooter that is a up and coming market?  I can see it now

Harleys new line of Touring bikes will include
the Screaming Eagle Medi Chair... comes with drink holders, pill dispenser, and its tour packs will hold a 24 pkg of Depends, and lots of Chrome (plastic) to increase the range of the Screaming Eagle Batteries.  Comes in OBW, Coblat Blue, Yellow, Orange, Purple and Tripple Red.

For me it would have to be the right bike. I don't mind the added expense but for that I would want something that was the right color for me and all the added goodies that I would expect on a cvo. The '09 yellow SE Springer was a perfect fit for what I wanted. So when it comes time to replace my bagger if they have a cvo bagger out at the time that I take a fancy to then I'll likely go that way and if not then I'll just go back with a non cvo and start off from scratch like I did with the Ultra I have now.

I'd agree with this...

I'd buy a another CVO if it was something I wanted (like the SERG)... I liked the springer as well but hell... I'n so used to riding a bike with bags (for my excess baggage, LOL) when I ride something else I dont know what to do...

IMHO bagger w/o TP is a great barhopper.... as well as a commuter... the TP just makes thigs more convenient.

I don't think I could go back. Non CVO colors just don't yank my chain... If money was no object I would trade the wifes 03RKC for a 09 or newer SESG!!! AHH.. A guy can dream, right?

Got two CVO's .... 2008 Dyna and 2009 UC. .... wouldn't EVER go back. But here's the deal .... with all the layoff's and bad employee morale have the CVO's gone the way of the dodo bird??????????? Time will tell, but I want to see the goods before I buy another CVO.

Yep. Already did.

However..... took it into the dealer again today for a front end decel wobble. Shop foreman took it out for a test ride. About 30 minutes later I get called to the service department. Seems the belt broke....again.... while he had it on the ride.

I think I may be looking into one of the CVO's coming out this year (next week). I'd prefer the Road Glide Ultra, mostly black with no red or orange on it.
