or Shawn, or Al

Sorry I got my vendors mixed up, it is Shawn that I bought through.

Hey, I spent all last week out on the east coast doing sales calls and my brain is fried from all the people and places I stopped at.  NJ, PA, MD and DE, over 700 miles.  I did get to do the HD York tour for the first time.  I've been in York for probably over 6 months total over the past 25 years and never hit the tour times right to take a tour.

Yes, Shawn was the guy and they were having a sale for the 7.25" speaker and foam padding set at $219.95 delivered.

Went Hog Tunes all the way.  Front, rear, tweeter pod, and speakers in the lowers also.  It's louder than my D&D Fatcat exhaust, since I'm still able to hear the music loud and clear at 120mph...not that I would ever do that.  8) 8) 8)

Did you try them without the amp first?  I see most people go with the 250 also.

not on the road, just in the garage. without the am a much noticed difference. adding the amp just made it clean and loud. then added the hogpod for all the crystal clear highs, ridiculous

I would like to thank everyone for their input, it helped me with making my decision. I went with J&M 7.25 speakers no amp just the factory HK stereo and the sound is night and day. I can now hear the tunes over my V&H power Duals c/w High Output Mufflers.  :2vrolijk_21: btw the exhaust sounds sweet too, nice deep rumble.  :2vrolijk_21:

Same set-up here.  Love the tunes and exhaust!  Ran the interstate at 80 today for over an hour.  I was surprised how well the speakers performed. . . . .
