Hey BT,
You should put those pictures under the Nelson GTG Chatter topic for everyone to see.  I almost missed them [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif].  Great photos.

I tell you what.  [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] This international event of a lifetime is going to be a lot of fun. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]  I'm still holding the memories of MV close, not ready to let them go yet, and July is some time away, but Riding to and from my birth Provence is going to be an inspirational trip.  My poor husband is just taking the time off work and hangin on, cause he can't believe I want to take on such a trip.  But when I look at all those that have multiple around the world trips under their belts, it only makes me realise that a trip from VA to BC is a beginners ride.  Once we are retired........... time will not be an issue.   [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

well to do the rally plus the post rally rally and ride home is already pushing 2 weeks if we ride ther now its going on 3 weeks.
but if we ship to WA state we can do a coast to coast thing

If the group shipping wants to land the bikes in Bellingham, I can warehouse them for a few days inside my detail building, secured and alarmed.

Bellingham now has direct service with Delta out of the Salt Lake hub.  I checked a Boston to Bellingham fare and got $388 plus fees for total $429.00 if you purchase now, but also check for November and still had the same fare currently.  So it may not need to be purchased this far in advance to get a decent fare.

7:00am
BOS  12:35pm
BLI  1-stop
Salt Lake City
( 55 min layover) 8 hr 35 min Delta 477
Boeing 757 Coach (T)
View Seats
Delta 4065
CRJ 100
operated by Skywest Airlines Coach (T)
View Seats
 From $388.00 round trip
+ $41.20 Taxes/Fees = $429.20

Roger, what is it like 400-425 from you to Nelson?  Too many options spinning in the wee brain right now.  But if you get several who have shippers park there to then depart to Nelson from your place it could be that some of us coming west come all way to Wellingham to catch the crowd before heading back east for a nice half-day's ride.

It is 394 over the border and across Canada, or 485 over the North Cascades Pass in Washington which has some great stretches of incredible road for bikes and up through eastern Washington.

Here's the Washington route below.

Well, if it works out that there's an option I know where I'd go.  Greeley went west.  Sherman took the South.  I'll take the Cascades.

[smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] Ooooooo, I am getting goosebumps.  Just seeing the names - Surrey, Chilliwack, Osoyoos, Cranbrook.  I can feel the excitment kicking it up a couple more notches.  MMMMMmmmm   [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif] I feel like I am going home after being gone for about 20 years.   ;D

Sounds good to me, with a two day ride to Nelson it would make it very comfortable an allow time to stop and enjoy the scenary along the way.
