I had the same problem w/my SEEG, and once I took the backrest off found it to be a lot more comfortable. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
....opt for a Tall Boy seat which moves you back a little. Much more comfortable.....
Glad to hear this seat is working as it is on my wish list for long distance touring and when "SO" is on the back. I still love the look of the stock seat and will explore maybe a gel pack internally inserted to keep that look.
......But the only things he did to the Electra Glide were to put an extended rear brake lever on it, [highlight]reverse the mounts on the highway pegs[/highlight] from the way I had it to get a couple more inches of distance....
This is one option (highway pegs) you may want to explore to give you the ability to stretch your legs out. I use
Kuryakyn Longhorn Offset Dually ISO Pegs, and have found these give me the ability to stretch out quite comfortably.
I'm 6'2" and have no problem with the boards or bars. My problem was with the short shield. Once I got rid of it and got a [highlight]14" shield[/highlight] I was happy. [smiley=huepfenjump3.gif]

American-Thunder. Inexpensive, and keeps the stock look of bike with just a little more windshield that keeps wind off me, and doesn't create "buffeting" effect. I had tried stock Ultra-Classic windshield from H-D and found that top hit me right at eye level.
