There is another recent thread asking basically the same question, http://www.cvoharley.com/smf/index.php?topic=50459.0 ,
and this is what I recommend:

Front, facing forward down: At the forks where the brake is mounted.
Rear, facing backward down: Saddlebag guards.
I use four tie down loops, and the actual ratchet tie down hook into those.
For safety use a chock for the front wheel.

Ride safely,
Louis

Thought I'd update on what I did.  I bought a condor chock for the front end and it worked great.  No matter what I tried I couldn't get the strap on the crash bar and from what several have posted that is probably good.  I took a nylon loop and fished it through the lower tripple tree.  It was a tight fit so I took a clothes hanger and cut a piece about 8" long and bent a loop in it which made fishing the loop through the lower tree a breeze.  The back end I have tied off to the rear wheel and the other time tied off to the passenger peg mounts.  Both rear tie down points worked well. Thanks for all the input.

A company called KIWI Indian makes a little tie down bracket that bolts to bike at ctr enging gaurd bolt and the fuel tank front mount bolts. It is a  forrmed deal that has a tab on both sides to fasten a tie down to. It is black powder coated, kind of blends right in to the bike. Once mounted you just put a tie down hook thru each side, ratchet down and go. The hooks/slots, whatever you want to call them are fabed to match fork angle.
No photos available, sorry. Do goggle for kiwi indian and call them or check out last months American Bagger magazine. Works OK and is not noticeable on bike.

I have a Condor chock and it works great on my 09 SERG.

Riders in our group have had all kinds of chocks, in my opinion the Baxley LA chock is the best, front tire squeeze, alows you to store your bike in an upright postion in the garage and we have also never trailered without them in them, a couple of straps to the engine guards and the saddle bag guards and you are good to go.  I would match this as the best against any chock, in my opinion! - lol
