Would this mount set up work with a HogTunes Tweeter Pod installed??  It looks like from the great pictures posted of the install that it would not as it appears it would mount directly where the tweeter is located.
No. The special dashpad has been designed to accept the Garmin mount. The Tweeter Pod not (for now).

Ride safely,

Eric, Thanks for the info and pics! One quick question, can you please confirm the parts below will work on a 2006 SEUG and a 660?  I'm pretty sure they will, but I wasn't sure what to make of those other part number you posted later.  Also, on the locknuts #7686 does the package come with two nuts or do you have to order a quantity of 2?

Please confirm so I can get my order in!  Thanks man!!!

The parts will work for 06 SEUG with 660.
The parts info I posted later on was for installing a dash pad on a street glide.
You have to purchase 2 locknuts, they're standard items the dealer should have in the hardware bin.

I wonder if putting some of the clear heavy duty tape on the inner fairing right behind the Garmin mount would help from wearing into the paint.  Just in case you want to convert the dash pad back for selling?

Jeez, the dealer just called me back and said the parts are on backorder - wasn't sure how long yet, but wanted to warn me. Also, the parts are hard coded so he can't give me the 20% HOG discount. The total was $174.25 with the Cook County 10% tax. A little stiff, but hopefully they'll come in soon?

I have a small request.  I've been thinking this set-up for my FLHX.  I use my windshield pouches alot.  Does anyone have this mount and use a pouch of any sort?

Swapped the chrome trim piece to the new dashpad.

Retsubldo - Any problems swapping the chrom trim from your stock CUSE to the new pad?  If I can skip buying that trim piece that saves me $50.   Thoughts?

Thanks again... terrific layout.
