I suppose if you think of it like
our skin then it makes sense - we pick up marks and scars and eventually (although of course this hasn't happened to me yet

) we get wrinkles - and we don't see them as imperfections - well the guys don't anyway...
They are just an indication of our lifestyle - right?
Which reminds me of a joke
Guy gets captured by wild tribesman far up the Amazon.
When asked if he had any last request before they skinned him alive and used his skin to cover their canoe - he thought for a moment then asked for a fork
They wondered why but gave him one anyway
