summer project 2010

As the weather is so wet this year we decided to create a new all weather room in the garden, a conservatory, or a Winter Garten as they call it in Switzerland, the planning process had already started in Feb/March, choosing a design and getting quotations and seeking an extra loan on the mortgage, work will be done in between priority events like rallies and GTG etc so planned completion wont be until Aug/September.
 Wigasol is the company we will purchase it from, the model we have chosen is Elegance, dimensions will be 5.4m by 3.2M, 16foot by 9.5feet or so

1st pic taken in May 2010 shows where the new room will be erected at the back of the house, you will see the two poles showing where the proposed structure will stand

the light shaft to the garage had to be lowered 10inches, 4 hours work to cut to reinforced concrete with a diamond tipped angle grinder and a large sledge hammer

sketch of what will go here in early August, but there is still a few lil jobs to do, like reroute the television antenee cable and a little plastering work before the base framework arrives sometime in July, there are a few rallies to attend between now and then.

Wigasol have planned Aug 3 and 4th to send me two guys to erected the structure with our help, on Aug 5th we leave to catch the early evening ferry Calais Dover to go to Sofer.
