JD,
The whole thing sits in the same position as the stock breather. When I bought it, Spiderman had the same set up on his bike {03 SERK}, and on long rides (across the desert.......Haulin A$$....), I noticed that there was a little oil on his motor (right on top of the timing cover), the power vents work well (they reduce the crank case pressure created inside the motor at high speeds (is there any other way to run 'em). So in fact, they do what they were designed to do. That said, I wanted to reduce the oil factor on the top of my motor, so I plumbed the power vents into the back of the air cleaner (pretty slick in my opinion, used SS fittings and some clear tubing). Since then, Doherty has included the fittings and hoses with his kit (not polished SS{plastic}, but it works). Fact is and I'll say it again,
BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK MODIFICATION ON THIS PLANET!!!!!!!!!
You guys must think I work for Doherty........He's in Az somewhere.........I live in Dago.......Maybe I should get commssion on his increase business
