I must admit, I love my Spiced Rum and have spent an obscene amount getting it where I want it. However, seeing the 2011's part of me wishes I waited...

And then there was the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and so on. Man I just don't have that much money!

Not enough changes yet.  But if you buy into the Advisory Panel hype plenty of changes are on the way.

And no regrets here.  Hey I almost believe what I said.  ;D

Funny thing you ask, I just bought mine almost two weeks ago & the wife said you should wait to see the new 2011's.  I'm Glad I did not listen to her, the only thing I like about the new 2011 SESG is the fuel tank, for me that is it.
I bought the last 2010 in the State Of Florida is what I was told from the dealer that sold it to me, no other CVO Street Glide in this State according to them, I went online & called almost every dealer I could find, before my selling dealer looked it up & said this is the only Spiced Rum in the State, so I bought it.
I really like this bike, it is the most comfortable Harley I have ever owned.
My last 2007 CVO Springer was very nice also.

I bought mine 1 month ago today and I have been thinking about the 11's quite a bit. But I love my concord candy. It is too hot in S. Louisiana for lowers so those would do me no good.... I can add tweeters and although I like the low profile  console I don't care for the fuel gauge and filler cap on the tank.. I like the openness of the 2010 tanks.  So really no remorse.. plus I got a pretty good deal on my bike.

Definitely no regrets here! Although I really love the inferno orange and chrome wheels I really don't care for the new console and tank or the lowers! I still believe spiced rum and gold leaf!

No regrets here. . . . .  We have one fine machine with the first year SESG.    :2vrolijk_21:  I must say the new 2011's are very nice but:  With the paint, graphics, lowers, and windshield, they just look like a stripped-down ultra, not a slammed Street Glide.  (Yes, I know that's what they are anyway!)  Hard for me to express my feelings but the 2010's just have a look that I'm still loving!  I'm personally not keen on all the speakers.  My J&M 7.25" are just awesome!  Most of the add-ons could probably be purchased thru the P&A catalog for those that really want them.  Probably for less than selling the 2010 just for the 2011.  Just MHO. . . . .  I'm a keeper at least for a few more years or until there are some real technical advancements.

Absolutely None Here, Personally I like the 2010 paint schemes better than the 11's and there are no significant changes in tech. Certainly would have to start the mod train up again  :nixweiss:  :nixweiss:

No regrets - very happy with my month-old Spiced Rum SESG

Must admit the Kryptonite looks sharp, but I would think I was back on the Fat Boy every time I looked at the full dash with flush-mount fuel filler and gauge - not diggin' that particular change.  Lowers might come in handy about 3 months of the year, but I can add those to what I have if I decide I need that - would not really want to go the extra speaker route - have added the J&M 7.25 speakers and amp and I'm very satisfied with the results; music is nice but secondary to me when riding.

How hot is it down there?  It was 112F here last week (and every summer).  I've been riding with lowers since 1989 (my first Ultra Classic)......never been an issue. :nixweiss:

The 11s have some great features..............the paint scheme is definately better than the 10s, leg fairings, the speakers, ipod dock, etc.  But I certainly am glad to have mine done and am not just now starting on all that.  I get to ride it this year instead of it being in the shop getting all the mods done. :2vrolijk_21:

The only thing I REALLY would like is the IPOD dock with handlebar controls which I can add from the P&A book for $400....other than that I'm good :2vrolijk_21:

Nope, definitely feel I made the right choice getting the 2010.  Don't care for the colors on the 2011.  Don't need the iPod as I have all the MP3's I need in my Zumo 660.  I wouldn't mind, though, getting those lowers with the speakers built in.  Maybe they will surface in the P&A catalog.   :nixweiss:

I'm 1400 miles and over a month into my Spiced Rum. Knew at the time the risk and took it.  Like the Kryptonite but wonder how it'll wear. I'd probably do the black.

I've added the J&M 7.25's with the amp  iPod I can add. Lowers I don't need. I've got the tank gauge setup on my Springer  I like the setup and find it more modern than the 2010 SG tank.

Tugged at by some regret.  I think a CVO bike should have a 'wow' factor and the 2011's do so more than the 2010. I'll be interested to see one on the floor.   At same time, my Spiced Rum has a dark and powerful quality that drove me to sign on.

D&D's installed as we speak. Pick it up tomorrow.

Interesting thread. Glad it was started.
