Hmmm, what do you think, should we tell him now not to take off the bags to see the rear sprocket and rotor the MoCo put on his bike when he gets it? Since he's already developing the "Under Cover Chrome"  Disorder.

This all makes perfect sense. First you start off with a chrome billet sproket and a brake caliper borrowed from the Queen of England. To protect that and add functionality you put on saddlebags with an expensive paint job. To protect that you have chrome crash bars. Then to protect the crash bars you put on leather pouches. There's nothing to be affraid of. It's just logical!

oh man, just got back from a long week on the road workin and it's 50's and sunny - I go hit my mailbox at the UPS store and theres 6 huge boxes of goodies from Chicago H-D awaiting! I get home and its like christmas in March! Don't know where to start, all sorts of goodies! I log on here to check the archives before drilling stuff and . . . and . . . and . . .  NOW I GOTTA ORDER A BELTGAURD AND SPROCKET!!!!!

Ok... I've diligently done searches on the site to find an alternative for this trim ring. I've heard there is another that is made that looks just like it but it REPLACES the existing stock trim ring instead of slipping over it. MY OCD is making me break out in a rash from looking at that %^&**&$##%$!!! gap on the HD integrated visor trim ring. If you know of a trim ring like I described, please post. Thanks!

I have always been kinda slow....you guys know what I mean , but I find it odd that I am buying chrome for a bike I don't actually posess yet. The odd part is that everyone else here finds it normal [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] how cool is that, spending money that you have on a bike you don't...it is a wonderful world.

I'm at a loss for words. SEULTRA might not! I don't think how close you live is much protection.

Fired00d, that is one beautiful chunk of chrome!! And I thought you were looking at your belt guard when you had the saddlebag off. Do you remember answering my post about if its still OCD if I get a black Brembo on the back? Now BigDaddy blows away even a Chrome Brembo.

Heh, if you going to upgrade you may as well go chrome. Since we speaking of this here are a couple more items on the "wish list".

Hey Dood,If it makes you happy then go for it .I have a diamond and rhinestone encrusted platinum brake caliper and bracket on my SERK now.Go figure.

Since this thread started with the trim ring thing, I installed my HD slip over and passing lamp rings today and they look great to me and were not any trouble, other than I pulled one of the screw heads past the lip by over tightening I guess.

Well you know the old saying.. "The only difference between men & boys is the size and the price of thier toys"  I hope you didn't tell wifey that the SEULTRA already comes with all the extras. Some here have and have lived to regret it.

Looking good. [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I had a buddy of mines compliment me on how mines looked after he tried installing his (headlight), and couldn't get it to fit right. He was mad because his was rubbing paint on his fairing, and had a big "V" gap in it underneath of his Street Glide. He even had the "stealer" to re-install it thinking he had done something wrong, but it ended up looking the same. I told him I would have installed it a lot cheaper. [highlight]My biggest complaint is on the spot light, but MoCo knew fitment on those was wack and included a piece of chrome (foil?) in the gap so it wouldn't be as noticeable.
