Anytime you replace "made in China" with made in "Idaho - USA," it's all good! :2vrolijk_21:

Actually I believe I went from China to Italy. Still, a much better sound.

I've been working way too much for a retired guy lately. So I took a little time to mount my new C&C solo seat w/ rider's backrest & passenger pillion. I had a sissybar pad laying around covered so I sent it to C&C to have them recover it to match the rest. I went with the larger style pad as it will only be mounted when my BSR's along. Might as well make her as comfortable as possible. I also got a black standard height detachable sissybar to mount it on. I think the black matches the rear end better.

The pics are kinda crappy.  :nixweiss:

The bike or the BSR?

I'm installing the Hertz 6.5 HCX 165 speakers I ordered from Biketronics with their adaptor kit for the batwing fairing.

I enlarged the pic of the speakers and saw BT447--looked on the biketronics website and can't find anything. What part number did you order? I like the idea of using the stock amp and changing out the speakers for now to help get some better sound.

I ordered the BT451. Here's a link
http://www.biketronics.com/products/6.5%22-upgrade.html

Good luck with the upgrade. Don't forget to ask them for the adapters. This makes for an easy plug & play mod.

Thanks...weird that your speaker pic has a different part number printed on them....maybe BT451 is the pair....

BT451's for both fairing and lowers--right?   And you never got the part # for the adapters--they just sent them to you.

Yep, fairing and lowers. The speaker ring provided with the speakers is very well made. When you order, ask for Bill. Tell him you need the wiring adapters for the SESG. He fixed me up.

Actually, the parent company is Elettromedia. Audison is another division (like Hertz). They are a great company.
The link to the USA distributor is:

http://elettromedia-usa.com/

I am installing a set of MLK-165s in my fairing ... gonna be schweet!

Jeff - we need to tag up again soon. Have some cool info for ya.

The "male" side inside the speaker box

That's actually the female connector. The "male" connector is what is housed on the speaker.

Well, as long as I don't make that mistake when it's really important... :-\ :P :D

None. The sound is mucho better. For a audio novice such as myself, this is a good mod.

I talked with Bill @ Biketronics. He says their Hertz Titans are Hertz HCX 165. FWIW.
