Was a little bored today so I put on a Walter's Wookshop extended heel shift lever and my C&C Sport Tour seat I originally got for my SERK4. The seat is narrower in the nose so I can get my stubby legs / feet to the ground a little better with this new touring frame. Still not flat footed.

Then I got a hold of Just Us Six and went on a little ride. We got back at dusk to get his wife and head for dinner. I noticed it appeared my SESG2 sits higher than his SERG3. I decided it was just the angle of his drive.

However, in the resturants parking lot (level) my scooter is taller. It appears to be a little less than 1" but it does appear taller. It was dark out so no good photo available. Does anyone know if the new style rear shocks on the SESGs are slightly taller than the older air low profile shocks?

Nice Mods JW  :2vrolijk_21: Looks Great  :2vrolijk_21:

Thanks CJ.

I stopped in a HD shop today during some down time at work. The old air shocks and the new hydralic shocks are both listed as 12". Could the newer shocks just have less sag? I will try to get with Brad (Just us 6) and get some pics and measurements. I like these shocks but I need my feet flat on the ground.

I'm going to mount my C&C solo on her to see if that does the trick. If not, a call to Works Perfomance Shocks may be in order.

Thank God I never said this one was staying stock.  ???

Huh....  I think you just provoked a deep thought.  Or at least a motorcyclophilosophical one.  The Road King project; someday when it gets done.... since it'll be built the way I want it when it's first done does that mean it'll be stock?  It could be the first bike I ever had that didn't need an upgrade from new! ???

But the fact that it's a "TLC" TwoLane Custom ... well that says it all. :D ;D

Don didn't really think he was going to get away w/that stock BS... that's almost like you saying you are going to keep your bikes stock.... and we both know that ain't going to happen.

That's excellent.  Just got a great idea for its license plate.  If can't get SERK to go along with SEEG and SERG than SETLC or TLCSE would definitely make the cut.
