Good News, went to the orthopedic doctor today and he said no surgery needed and 6-8 weeks to full recovery, could have been lots worse!

Very good to hear.  [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif]
The more I think about the hospital releasing you (after the injections), the more I think you have to contact an attorney. That seems like a slam dunk and your 67% will easily fund a new bike.

Brad,

Sorry to hear of your mishap but, glad to hear that you'll be fully recovered in 6-8 weeks.  Hope the SEEG fairs as well also.  Take care and am looking forward to your riding posts with the repaired scoot!

My hospital won't even release me after a colonoscopy (want to see some photos?).  Honest, they make someone come pick me up.  Won't allow me to call a cab and I only live 3 miles away.  I'm not fond of litigation but your situation is the best argument for it I've heard of lately.  Hope you are feeling better soon.  That really sucks about your bike, too.

Brad,

Glad to hear that you are going to be alright. Hope the bike can be repaired. I'm with many others, a consultation with a lawyer is needed.

Harley shop got me my estimate today. $13,xxx, no frame damage, so I would say it is going to be getting fixed, hopefully the motor co wont take to long to get me painted parts!

Wow, they didn't waste any time coming up with an estimate!  That's great news that there is no frame damage, so should be good as new then when they get done with it!  Keep us posted on the progress!
